So far it's working fine. My only issue at the moment is using the remote; it has taken multiple attempts and pointing at different parts of the player to pause, rewind, fast forward, open, etc. Not sure if there's an issue with the remote or player.

Let me make one thing clear: 4K is the way to go usually, and owning one of these makes for a fantastic viewing experience. What is frustrating is when the player freezes up and won’t eject the disc until I restart it. I know this isn’t just me; other 4K owners have had similar problems. Otherwise, great item, even if you have to shell out some extra dough.

Excellent player! I’ve been streaming all my moves digitally, so being able to watch them with the significantly higher bitrates from a 4K Blu Ray disc is like watching all of my movies for the first time again! Crisp, clear, Dolby Vision, and a simple interface. I don’t use any of the streaming apps on it, so I couldn’t tell you how those work. Otherwise, I’m super pleased!

It plays DVDs, Blu-rays, and 4K movies! What else do you want in a player! And it's affordable. The size is nice, not big. Fits in your entertainment center with ease. Definitely check out this player!

Nice size small good futures and the picture in 4 k amazing

Wanted to upgrade my 4K player after buying a new Dolby Atmos enabled Receiver. Simple to set up and has most common commands mapped to the remote instead of having to cycle through disc menus (i.e. subtitle). Did not use any of the streaming functionality.

Sony Blu-Ray 4K Ultra HD player clearly displays the dvd's we play. This permits us to enjoy movies at home that have the same quality or better than in a movie theater. The picture quality is distinct, the sound is clear, and it facilitates a pleasurable viewing experience at home.

Great 4k player. Plays 4k movies perfect. I haven't had a problem with it like I did with my previous Samsung 4k player

I have an Xbox series x and a ps5. Neither one of them can do Dolby vision from the blu ray player. I have this player paired with an lg oled. It adds a layer of immersion and looks really great. If you have more than 3 or 4 4K hd movies, this is a must. Xbox series x and ps5 are not great at playing 4K hd movies.

Had to replace my ultra HD Blue Ray player. After looking around I purchased this unit. Excellent decision. Set up was easy, works great. Big improvement over other brand. Picture quality it great. Highly recommend this unit.

Player great quality easy to set up plays all formats

The Sony 4K ultra player does what it's supposed to do with no fuss. The streaming is nice as it can be wired or wireless. I mistakenly didn't pay attention to what apps are available on the player but my tv is a smart so even that minor detail fades quickly. If I were taken back in time, I'd buy it again. Solid device with excellent playback quality

A fan of LG products, this replaced an 4K LG Blu-ray that I've never been happy with. The Sony one powers up instantly, turns off instantly, and responds to other commands without delay. Also no skipping or blanking out of video. The audio output on the Sony is a big improvement also - easy to understand the voices over the background music and sound effects.
