This is my first standalone BR player (not counting ps4/5) Over all I like the size and build quality but had higher expectations Things that I did not like 1- no usb port in the back, when connecting external HDD, I would want the wires tucked in the back . Also the usb player interface could be Better. 2- 3d play back would often go out of synch. Since ps5 doesn’t support 3d playback (shame on Sony) this is an important feature. 3- remote is clunky. I couldn’t get used to operating it in dark when watching a movie and almost l always pressed the wrong button. The button layout is not user friendly.

This is an excellent DVD player. I love that I can fast forward or reverse the video. Great for finding that special segment or favorite actor. And then you can watch that part over and over again! Easy to set up, easy to use!

When my last Sony brand DVD player quit after many years of excellent service I went out and bought another. This new DVD player has the same excellent quality. I trust the Sony brand for their reliable products.

It was a good purchase, easy to use and I really enjoy watching movies with my family.

This Sony Blu-ray player is highly recommended because of the ease and resolution are awesome. Great investment for entertainment purposes.

Good quality, it’s compact and it’s priced right..

Great player but remote is way too small. Great pic and sound upgrades to 4k

Was initially surprised when I found no remote when I unboxed this. But since I have a Sony TV, the remote for the TV can control the Blu-ray player. Never use this for streaming, 4k discs look great and the 1080p upscaling to 4k also looks good. One main issue I’ve had is overheating (I think). Take this with a grain of salt though because mine is set up inside an entertainment center, but not completely enclosed from air circulation. Normally around the 2 hour mark in a movie, it will stop similar to how a scratched disc stops. I take very good care of my discs and this happened about every other time I use the device. The solution is to just remove the disc and put it pack in, but it is annoying to have to go into the menus and select the scene where you left off and hope you don’t have to rewind or fast forward back to your original point. Can also be used as a streaming box, but I don’t do that since modern TVs already have the streaming apps.

Very easy to of use and great quality in picture displayed.

We have a lot of DVDs, and have 2 other DVD players. But we needed a third one for our main TV. We love it. It was very easy to set up, and we are enjoying watching our DVDs.

Pretty good 4k uhd player. Has two hdmi outputs. U can send audio out of one hdmi to a sound system. And then the other to your tv or projector. Had some issues with freezing where i had to unplug to fix. I do wish there was just a player that came without the smart apps built in. I dont need a smart tv and a smart dvd player. Just less eco friendly.

It’s an ok blu ray player for the money, used for CD’s, blue ray, and internet interface to AV receiver. Biggest gripe is the remote is small and buttons are too close together and requires looking instead of press by feel.

I upgraded to a 4k player from Blu-Ray to watch a few specific movies I owned, and this one is easy to use and looks amazing. Very happy with this player - really everything you would want

Nice upgraded from my previous LG 4k dvd player. Most of all due to no buzzing noise when playing 4k discs. 4k discs look extremely sharp and the audio output to my soundbar sounds very good.

This was my first 4K UHD player and I decided to ultimately stick to my gut and past, positive experiences with Sony electronics… I am so glad that I did! I haven’t faced any issues, and while it does make some noise, it is negligible with the sound coming from supported sound bars and/or TVs.

It works wonderful. Plays blue ray fine. Makes the movies look realy good.very pleased with my purchase.

Great 4k DVD player. Was worth every penny. Good quality picture.
