I’ve always had Sony players. From VHS to Blu-ray Sony has never let me down when it comes to quality. This new 4K player displays the very best quality picture that I’ve ever seen. I feel like I’m there in the movie! Next level stuff!

This is an excellent disc player. First movie I watched was Angel Heart and it looked fantastic. Tbh I haven't used any of the streaming capabilities, but I got it for UHD blu-ray disks.

Not the most expensive or the cheapest, but it has all the functions I need. Since a year ago I purchased a new 4K TV, I wanted a BluRay Player with 4K ULTRA HD capability. Setup was easy and fits nicely into my overall system. Included HDMI cable was a nice touch. Very happy!

The video quality I’m getting out of this is simply excellent. I am in awe how good it is bring out details even from a blu ray disk! And it delivers amazing sound quality as well. If you kove movies and/or music, you should definitely buy this player, you’ll see and hear contents to their fullest potential.

My first 4K player. Works very well. It also has 1080 upscaling which seems to make the video quality better on non 4K discs. Also links nicely with my Bravia tv so I can run everything with one remote.

I was going to call someone to help attach this Blue Ray to the new Samsung tv. A quick read of the box told me to try and wow it was really only two cords and we are working. Quieter than the DVD player I had and an absolutely great picture.

Picture quality is great. Easy to use. So far so good.

Setup is a little more difficult than a lot of seniors can handle, but The results are worth it. Able to to connect to our favorite streaming apps and watch many Blu-ray CDs.

Wonderful inexpensive 4K HD Blu-ray player purchased during Black Friday sale. Connections are simple and the unit works well, except for the usb connection port. Unit tested with an ATMOS HD blu-ray disk and it worked well (video & audio), but this is not an audiophile quality CD player.

Quality Sony DVR Player. Works great for DVR and Blu-Ray Disks. Audio & Video playback are perfect. I have not used for streaming yet. The unit is mounted in an RV. I will see how it holds up to bouncing down the highway for extended periods of time.

I’m giving it 4 stars because I had to return one already. If it stays working it’s great. First one kept locking up freezing and rebooting. Not what I expect from Sony. This one seems to be ok for now but based on other reviews it don’t look promising

It’s a good UHD Blu-ray player for most movies at a more reasonable price, however it has a serious flaw in that it can freeze while playing certain movies on BD100 discs. The main page also irritatingly has applications on it that you can’t remove. As well as the UI looks like is from a DVD player from 2004. And finally you need to manually turn Dolby Vision on and off for movies that support it (or leave it on for potentially inaccurate tone mapping). Ultimately, pass on this one and continue doing research for players that have better reliability.
