    I got this when it was on sale for $149 to replace a PS3 on a 1080p TV. Most DVDs look good when upscaled, and it does blu-rays and Ultra HD discs just fine. And I love the remote too. It has controls for the TV power, volume and inputs, so if we want to go from the Apple TV to watching a disc, we can just use the one remote. I have not tried any of the apps or the USB function. I'm super pleased with this device and glad I got it at a great price, too.

    Definitely a good 4K player, good cost-benefit, the only bad thing is that sometimes the image freezes and you have to restart it
