I use it only because it plays 4k blu-rays and supports Dolby Vision. that part is great. what is not great is that on some disks it will freeze up and start getting choppy. I've done some searching and it seems that this is sort of a known issue.

Blu Ray for now and 4K for the future

I wanted a Blu Ray Player that had 4K for the future when I purchased a 4K TV. After reviewing several 4K Blu Ray Players this model fit what I wanted the best. Set up was quick using easy set up and connecting to the internet was fast. I have both DVD and Blu Ray disc and they played well. On set up I chose Auto for everything and so far, it was the best choice. I wanted streaming for music and occasionally for video and am pleased to get faster streaming than my previous Blu Ray Player. Also, I previously had connections to our computers Media servers, and I found connection to our computers faster and no hassle to set up.
