DolbyVision is either on for everything, including non HDR DVDs and Blu-rays, or off to allow HDR10 for 4K HDR Blu-rays that have it. Read reviews that said the conversion to DV was not always accurate. Didn't want to have to remember to check the setting every time I played a disc, so I decided to return it and will pay more for the Panasonic DP-UB820-K.

This brand we have not had a problem so we are pleased and hope this one has a full life like the other one.

Glad I made the change. The associate that sold them to me and the installers couldn’t have been more professional and courteous. Went back to Bedt Buy and brought my granddaughter an Apple tablet recently.

I highly recommend this Sony product and no, I am NOT affiliated with the company... Lol!

The streaming leaves A LOT to be desired, as there are only about a dozen choices including Netflix and Amazon Video. Even though the Hulu app is included, it doesn't work and says "no longer supported on this device." No Disney+ either. We hoped this would be a better solution for streaming at home, but I guess we'll continue to use our ChromeCast instead.

I needed a blueray dvd player and this checks all the boxes. Bonus that it is also a streaming device. I haven't even looked at that yet. It's easy to set up etc

Great turn around time I ordered it one day the next it was delivered. A++ Much Better than the industry. It work out of the box, Sony Had some features that made it worthwhile. They supplied all the cables and good Instructions.

The first movie we watched was Avatar and the colors were clear & vivid. Well worth the upgrade.
