I have had nothing but good luck with Sony Blu-ray players so it’s all I buy. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I feel like the interface could be more visually appealing instead of looking like “here’s your Blu-ray player, this is what you get”.

Fast player, I use it for 4K UHD. Rest of the features seem to work well but not why I purchased it. I have owned several players, this one works quite and fast.

This machine is the perfect answer to my collection of Blu-Ray discs, and DVDs meant to play on multi-region players. I am very pleased with the purchase so far.

Fantastic BD Player - haven't found a thing to complain about yet, except for I can't find the setting to disable auto-on when you turn on the TV.

This purchase was absolutely Positive! My initial purchase was an open box where there was no power supply in box. After the 3rd trip there the salesman said he was going to take care of me. I was pleasantly pleased! Many Thanks!

Absolute piece of junk! Almost every time the unit sits unused (hours to days), it loses all memory. I have to go through the setup process AGAIN even though it shows the WiFi network and password prepopulated. Plus, when I give up and go to set up again, sometimes it works in 5 minutes of trying, sometimes after 10 minutes, even as long as 30 minutes. Then, I have to log back in to all my apps to use them. That is already frustrating, and then combine that with the remote not designed for typing. Completely regret buying this!

It works well nothing to complain about and time will tell if works as expected. It’s possible that my expectation is very high.

This is a great player! So far, no issues, and discs look great. While the build quality may not be as high as some others, it includes a lot of streaming options, which is a must these days for most people. Would recommend.

I purchased this item at a savings of about $200. The pickup was fast and courteous. The item is great for it's price.

There’s not much that I can say. Every Sony product that I have purchased in the past 25 years is still working great. This blue ray player works great and the picture quality is awesome. I bought a Sony blue ray 5 years ago and it still works great. I gave it to my son when I bought this new one. I have purchased other brands in the past and none lasted more than 3-4 years. I’ve learned you get what you pay for

Setup from Sony was not very clear. My Samsung TV does not pair well. Difficult to change from HDMI1 to HDMI2. Keeps ignoring the change request.

It seems to like to pause several times during playback, like it's buffering. You have to stop playback, restart, then fast forward to where you were. I checked to see if the unit had the latest firmware, and it does. It's a SONY, it should work great...it doesn't.

The picture quality is excellent. When paired with a solid 4K/8K HDR TV, you’re in a visual treat. However, having to manually switch between HDR 10 and Dolby Vision is really annoying.

The remote quit working after only a few uses. Return was easy so far so good with the replacement

We only use it to watch Blu-Rays and DVDs, so I can't comment on the streaming, but it plays disks great.

Could not add an extended warranty so Ii returned it

Very nice unit. Actually had a printed manual so set up was simple and it was up and running in minutes.

Excellent player to have to play your 4K blu ray movies, also DVDs and CDs. I have get away from playing my movies from the X-Box One S. Can't wait to test the player out.

The picture is good, smooth enough. Better update the software to read the latest 4K movie. The remote design is outdated.
