Feels like a step back from the 800 (cause it's 100 better than 700?) The remote is small and the interface feels sluggish and when u turn on Dolby Vision on the 700/m, it's all on all the time except for DVDs, which makes it hard to enjoy a movie. I can't tell if the movie has original HDR or is added by the player. It gives it a fake Vision feeling and I'm def not feeling that. Great budget player but if I had the money, I'd save for the 800/m.

Is it unused?

It works so far but when looking up the model number in the settings there is was no M at the end. Just seems sketchy for a new in-box item.

Player freezes

First Sony purchase I have been disappointed with, dvd's, and streaming channels freeze and player locks up for no reason. Only way to get it shut off is to unplug the power cord from the back of the player and let it reset. Just a very disappointing purchase, I expect a higher quality from Sony but this is not one of their better DVD players. After this poor effort I am not sure if I will be purchasing any more of their products.
