There is no way to add any streaming apps. What a disappointment. The pre loaded prime app doesn’t even work.

Sony UBP-X800X2, I bought in 2022, YouTube app does not work well. If you want to watch the YouTube free movies, this player just bring back green or black screen. I don't know if prime video and Netflix apps have the same issue.

Does what it says. Plays blu rays cds dvds and streams

I've had this device since 2019. Watched maybe 20 Blu-Rays on the unit. Used it for DLNA with plex most of the time. Went to watch a disc yesterday the unit wont eject and now the unit is freezing. When I first got the unit it froze once and I had it not eject once or twice but now nothing. Would not recommend for the price.

Is pretty much how I would describe this store and it’s electronic customer experience. I didn’t buy this but a guy with the same name as me did. Forever more I get to look at all the crap he buys or looks at online with incessant nagging emails in my inbox. The best part; Best Buy does nothing to remove my email and I just keep on giving irrelevant reviews. They could improve their system by responding. Instead, their laziness results in childish consequences.

OK BUT IT DID NOT WORK EFFICIENTLY WITH MY TV, so it was returned.

Back with service centre, it won't power on after just 5 months & 4 times of using. Junk.

Sorry but this product did not work with my TV. I was told it would by the sales person. Unfortunately, that information was not correct. I returned the product and bought another one. I had a salesperson who understood my TV setup and he helped me with a new purchase that does work. It may be a fine product, but just did not work for me.

This player will not play 4k movies. Whst it does is convert the signal to 1080p. I have trued everything. Now when i put a 1080p disk in tje player upscale and sends s 4k signal. I have tedts the with two 4k tv and it still does not work. I have tried changing all the setting and nothing. Now for the sound quality, it sucks.

Good product & always great service when in the store.

At first a good system but no later than 6 months after purchase I noticed that the Bass and the volume seemed to be of less than where I would set it and had to keep on moving the volume up, Bass was always weak never did hit very hard at all so movies don't have the same impact as a good home theater system does no power in the system at all.

Second Sony 4k player, failed right out of the box. Won't play any type of discs.

After 4 uses - it doesn't operate correctly any longer and all I have is disappointment. Buy something else.

Absolute junk. Press the power button to turn on....after 5 seconds it turns back off. Takes 4 or 5 trys of this to get the machine to stay on. Then there is the skipping, every 4k video skips at some point, brand new discs. Yes they are clean. Did I mention how much I love skipping? Will be returning shortly for a different brand.

Wasn't even 2 years after I bought it that it quit reading any discs that are inserted. I've had much cheaper players that I've had 5+ years that still work fine.

Doesn't come with an HDMI cable (or any other cable to connect to TV)! I guess we are just supposed to connect it with thoughts and prayers?

Item was sold as like new, from local BestBuy. Actually came from Georgia, wear damage and remote missing. Called the Georgia store and they said I would have to carry it back to the Georgia store 400 miles from here. Took it to the local BestBuy and was returned and money refunded. Not a good experience purchasing over the internet.

Will not play older DVD's. Since 4K is fairly new, I still have older DVD's and Blu ray disks that do not play in this device.
