4K Blu-Ray player, seems to work very well and not had any issues to date. It does play DVD's, notice that some do not. To be exact, I put in Antz, the movie, and it worked. Not sure about the apps on here, as the TV we bought has them and use those there. So, can't help you on this review if you want know about the apps, sorry.

This unit is loaded with features. I haven't had time to use them all just yet; primarily because I was asked to do this review too soon after the purchase. Being that it is a Sony product, I don't anticipate any problems.

Blu Ray is a good medium if you still have any discs, but streaming no seems to come in higher resolution. Also, there is no way to use this player to stream DSD digital audio of an SACD to a DAC, so pretty useless from that perspective. Eh. OK but not great.

I have not gotten the unit installed yet, but would challenge the ”excellent” condition. It states that there are no scuffs or marks, but my unit has a broken front plate and the side is loose. The remote was included, but it was not in a box (no big deal).

Wonderful Blu-ray player. It connects to my ethernet system so I can get to my NAS collection of movies and songs.

Average player. Slow to start up and navigating menu screens is challenging. Picture quality is fine.

Excellent player, especially if you can catch it on sale. I bought the previous model a couple years back and liked it so much, I bought this newer model to replace a PS3 in another room that stopped playing blu-rays.

Plays every DVD in my collection as well as my old CDs. Loads much faster than my old Sony blu-ray. Definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, in spite of all its other great features, it would not read most of my movies via USB thumb drive. Also the front USB interface plastic tab was poorly designed and flimsy. I could imagine it breaking off before too long with repeated use. I am assuming the issue had to do with its codecs list installed in the software. I ended up buying an LG 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray model that encountered none of these problem issues.

Great BluRay player. The associate was so sweet and helped me with my selection after I told her what my needs were. Great recommendation and glad I purchased this model.

The movies that we watched on the dvr looked very good.

Great 4K player. Really good value for the money. This is the second one I've bought, so I could replace another brand in another part of the house. Setup was easy.

We replaced an older Blu-Ray player with this 4K Hi-Res player. We have been using it for DVD, Blu-Ray, and some 4K movies we have. We really like the fast open feature for the Disk Drive! This new player was easy to install and so far works great.

This is the best 4K player available. Excellent performance and quiet operation.

Dolby vision and Dolby atmos together in my living room.

This was my second one and they all eventually just freeze for no reason. I had to unplug it and plug it back in to use again. I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I had to return it.

Very nice BluRay player with 4K UHD capability. Upgraded with purchase of a 4K 77" OLED TV. First 4K movie was "No Time to Die" - it was awesome to watch!

This is an excellent player. Sony obviously has the corner of the market in decent players. Even their cheap ones rule the roost, but this one is even more so the player to get.

I have a weird screen flash when on the menu screen, but not when the movies are playing. I've tried a few 4k and HDR titles and honestly I don't get the hype. Maybe it's my TV, I'm told it isn't the best for HDR. But it is a heavy, quiet device so that's an upgrade from my older player.

Haven’t had a chance to test the capability of this yet but by reading others reviews before purchase that’s what drew me to this model .. it’s features for the price was good
