Worth the price

I listen to music while cleaning and also for get togethers with friends. This is definitely loud enough. I love the additional bass option button. I did extensive research between this one and other brands out there. Previously I had a Sony Bluetooth speaker (smaller and less powerful) that lasted me more than 5 years so I figured that if Sony came out with a new one, why wouldn’t I get it? Definitely worth the price.

I use it paired with my Victrola in one room so that I can listen to kusic in another room. I don’t know if this is common with this combo, but I have to connect with FM radio first before I can get it to work with albums or CDs. The charging cord is ridiculously small - less than 12 inches long.

Owning a Sony SRS-XB-23 I was not thrilled with the sound quality, I was going to return this item but ultimately changed my mind after reading some good reviews. Using this speaker the first time I was VERY pleasantly surprised at how crisp the sound was. It played my hard rock tunes with ease and I was able to hear all the vocals and instruments without any distortion. Looking forward to trying this speaker out when I work on the fall yard cleanup to hear the range but as of now I am REALLY liking this speaker.
