You can move it to the backyard, inside the house, or anywhere you need audio that demands attention. I like that you can set the pitch adjustment from low to high key.

The battery life is very accurate; but all depends on how loud you listen. To be honest, I can’t turn it more than 30% because it’s loud and clear enough for me. We’ve been singing karaoke out from the thing for 2 plus hours every now and then. I like it a lot and glad didn’t go with the 520 Partybox; too much bass.

Best Portable Speaker for the Price

I've had JBL, bose and other home theater equipment for comparison and the Sony one is a league above in terms of music quality and impact. It gives you the feel of a much higher quality dedicated tower speakers with amplifiers. Bass is surprising for its size. Added bonus for mic inputs and optical.

Very immerseful. Fills up the room from wall to wall. They won't say what the wattage is on this speaker, but i'm sure it's in the hundreds. And that doesn't really matter anyway. It sounds great , and has plenty of power. Bass sounds great. But it's not overwhelming. Still allows you to hear the instrument separation. I bought the a c version because I didn't want a battery. A speaker this big doesn't need to be moved around anyway.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only bought Sony products over the years, they are always reliable and I have never been disappointed Sony never ceases to impress, unless space is an issue due to it being quite “bulky”, I highly recommend this product, I currently owned the XP 700 and I’ve had it for the past two years and loved it, But this Ult Tower 9 is on a whole other level! The bass is impressive “it will Definitely will shake the walls in your house” mids and highs are very clear and pronounced at any volume & can handle any genre of music you throw at it! And it sounds even better when paired with my XP700…… I highly recommend this product… definitely worth the money!!
