Best tower speaker if you have the money

This speaker comes equipped with capabilities for karaoke and a fun lighting system. Supports LDAC for the best quality of Bluetooth connection. The tower 9 has an absurd 25 hour battery life and you can feel it. Zero complaints.

Good sound, but significant shortcomings.

The only thing that Sony could have done better is to allow Bluetooth pairing of multiple speakers when you are using the 'Audio In' from your music source. You must hardwire each speaker to your mixer if you want to do that. I'm a mobile DJ and I can't depend on Bluetooth to not drop out at a gig. That's especially unacceptable when you're djing a wedding. I have a pair of Monster X6 speakers that allow you to wirelessly pair another speaker, while using Audio In with the primary speaker. Sony should have added this feature, especially when each speaker costs $1000!

Hit of the 4th of July Gathering

No surprise when we returned home and preparing for our 4th of July gathering, this speaker was top of list. Listened to the the smaller speaker of the series, but did not get the same bass and vocal sound. Wife stood on her 1st decision to go with this speaker and it did not disappoint. The speaker filled our entire house and yard with tunes for the 2 day party. Bass was deep where you could feel it, but did not distort any vocals. 2 sets of guests asked about the speaker as they were amazed at the sound. In the future, may purchase another, not that its at all needed, but just becase..lol.

We have been looking to purchase it for some time. The lights are very pleasing to the eyes and the music is very clear . Great item while doing parties . Great but not perfect

We got 2 for use in stereo pair outside with the projector and for parties around the pool. There are issues with the app sometimes not allowing me to connect two together. That would give me 4 stars but the speakers pair buttons work just fine so it’s no issue. The speaker resets everything to defaultbsonifnyou need less bass and set the bass eq lower through the app you will have to do it every time. Will update when we ensure the optical out in the projector works with the speakers being in stereo pair mode No other speaker has optical out and we were sold on the 25 hour battery functions
