I really like this grip and that it uses the Sony camera batteries is wonderful since I do not have to carry a bunch of AA batteries with me and if I need to remove the grip and just use a single battery it detaches quickly. I like this grip for vertical shooting since it has the shutter button and the custom buttons easily accessible and makes it convenient and comfortable to use. This grip is worth the money and it makes you look like a true camera GEEK!

Minimal weight and bulk added to your camera. Added function control & shutter button. Easily removed when not needed.

This is a well built grip made for sony a7ii series. The grip makes the a7 a more balanced camera and also shooting in portrait mode is more comfortable.

As great as the A7 is the SHORT battery life is a weakness. NOTHING worse than running out of juice when shooting a wedding or event. This grip doubles your battery life as well as giving you additional functionality in portrait mode. Well worth the investment for a working pro. I love it!

This is a great accessory!! The handle makes it so much easier to hold my camera and the extra battery helps me not have to replace batteries so often.

This grip gives you full control of your camera. You don't have to hang your pinky off of the bottom as you would without it. It feels nice to hold, although it isn't so bulky to the point where it's truly comfortable (at least for me). It is a bit long feeling on the A7ii though, and it's relatively big compared to the camera itself. It could be smaller by some, plus it takes away from the more portable size it gives you to begin with.

This grip is very nice for a few reasons, it doubles the battery life of the camera, and when taking portrait oriented images there is a separate shutter on the grip. Works as described.

Need more power? Get this and double your power with two batteries. I didn't buy my A7SII and A7RII because I wanted a smaller mirrorless camera. I bought them for their awesome photo and video quality. Personally I like the look and feel of the larger DSLR camera's and adding this Vertical Grip makes me feel right at home. Still not as large as my Nikon's but close enough.
