I only had them for a week and then the head set broke

This Sony branded headphone performs well. There are no sound problems such as static. intermittent channel changes, nor low levels. It plugs and plays as advertised and the attached control module works well with in-game and chat audio. They can pinch after many hours of use. They also do not cup over the ear. Solid set nonetheless.

I love the sound on these but I can't wear them for too long because they fit too tight. I would say I have an average sized head and after 30 mins or so of wear they become uncomfortable. I'm considering upgrading to the gold version or buying a different set - too bad since the sound really is great

This headset came free with my play station. I would recommend maybe a better $100 set but these do the job just fine. Little worried on durability. But the are very lightweight great if headsets hurt your neck. but too tight for a wide head, starts to hurt some on side pressure.

I am getting ready to take back my second head set as the head set broke yet again just above the speaker attach point cut out. The sound is awesome, just not a reliable unit as the there is a poor design concept. This is the second unit to break in 14 months, both in the exact same location. . This head set is either on my head or on my desk, never on the floor and not used by kids. I'm 55, so not too rough on the unit. I bought geek protection on second one, we will see how that goes. Again, a great sounding unit and the mic works well......... when you can wear it!

Overall the headsets are good. They work as advertised and are 7.1 surround sound. But I can't tell a difference using the specific profiles that you can set for each game. They do get uncomfortable after an hour of gameplay. Also, their is no bass at all so sound isn't that great if you want to hear or feel the booms and deep sounds. Also, iv'e only had these for about 2 months and just found out that my mic doesn't work and i have to pay shipping to ship it to playstation to get them repaired. If you can get these for less than $40 then their worth it, any higher and i don't recommend them and also hope that you don't have to deal with Playstation or Sony support because they are not good.

Great quality headset for the price. The only thing wrong with them is that they are tight on your head and you can't adjust them. After about a while of wearing them, they start to hurt. The sound quality and microphone are really good.

These headphones are versatile in the fact that they can be used for both 7.1 surround sound and plugged into the ps4 controller for simple chat. I have primarily used them for chat and have found that they function very well for that purpose. There are 2 negatives with these headphones and both involve comfort. 1. They are too tight around the head. 2. The material that touches your ears is too rough even scratchy. The comfort of these headphones is what brought potential 5 star headphones all the way down to 3 due to the fact that I could not wear these longer than a couple hours without having to take a break to rest my head and ears.

I think these are great pair of headsets because of the sound. One of my favorite features is the ability to lift up the microphone boom that sticks out. This mutes the audio. Much easier than searching for the amplifier and pressing the mute button, especially when family constantly barges in. However, the main plastic strap on top of your head is not of great quality. It has broken twice in one year. (I glued a metal strap over the previous break, and it then broke in another spot.) And it has not been abused. Granted it was used for a few hours every day. But it should last well over a year.

I recently purchased this headset at Best Buy to go along with my playstation 4 system. It provides superb sound quality and works flawlessly with the system in all ways. I can use it for share play, movies and music, and, of course, all games that I have on my system, and comes at a good price. I would definitely recommend this product!

I had a wireless headset before this one that was double the price and I only purchased this one because the store was out of stock of the wireless I wanted. I am very happy with this headset. The cord is very long and does not get in the way like I thought it would. The sound is great and because it NOT wireless I don't have to worry about it running out of charge and the waiting for it to charge again.

This is very good quality. I had a $40 LG headset for my PC and actually use this one instead. Just a note, you have to pull the mic boom all the way down for it to be unmuted, something I didn't realize without searching forums. The only thing I don't like is that it starts to hurt my ears after long use (3+ hours) even after many size adjustments, which is what stops me from giving a 5/5. I got this for free as a bonus with my PS4 purchase, so I can't speak to value vs price.

I got this headset free on a promo with my new PS4 and I'm glad I got this with it. They are pretty comfortable and I have ears that stick out so its hard to find headphones that I would say that for an on ear headset. I played for about 2 hours and had minimal discomfort for a headset that doesn't go over your ears. I am not sure about the mic. It feels like it is in an odd location or it is a bit flimsy. I tested the sound out and it appeared to work ok, just felt odd to me. These also have downloadable sound settings for specific games through an app on the PS4. I used them with Batman and they sound great. I would get these again if they were on sale. Not sure I would pay the original $49.99 for them but I would jump at them if they were $40 or less. As a side note, I did see some reviews online that mentioned that they broke at the headpiece. So something to think about. Overall, I recommend them if you are just looking for something basic. I got them for free with my PS4 so I am very happy with them.

While it took me a little while to figure out that I needed a separate application to control it properly, and it took me a while to figure out how to get ALL sound to go through the headphones ONLY. Once I got it all figured out, the sound is great on these headphones, and I love that their are separate sound profiles for most of the major games that you can load to the headphones to optimize the sound for each of the games, or music. The cord is plenty long to reach a reasonable distance from the console, but if you have a large living you I would invest the extra money to get the wireless version. Other than that, these headphones have not disappointed.

Microphone is some times not working (Could be defective piece). Sound quality is great. But it is hurting my ears very bad. I didn't find headset turn off button. may be we have to disconnect it if we want to switch to speakers. I returned it.

Good headset, sound quality is good, surround sound is decent, build quality is decent and plugs easily into my PS4 and PC. Only issue is that it gets uncomfortable for your ears during long game sessions. Besides that, great headset at the price I paid for which was $35.

The headset provides quality sound and is very light. Actually lightest full ear headset I've tried. Nice long cord allows me to sit anywhere in the room with volume controls on the cord.

This headphone does it's job however can you keep it on for long time? No this thing hurts your ears. I bought it for cheap price but if i had money i would go for gold instead which is better both way.

Works great, fits good , a bit snug, but I like it. Sound is great, mic has good pickup and is retractable for when you dont need it. I use it for my live streaming videos and the audio on playback is great as well. I definitely recommend!
