As far as using them with a phone they are not as good everyone I talked with using them said they coild barely hear me. So I ended up taking them back & exchanging them for a different Bluetooth headphones.....

These headphones didn't have very good output though. They do the job of blocking out noise pretty well though. I can't hear a darned thing when they are in, but I can't really hear much from the headphones either.
