These headphones are really nice, they seem flimsy and cheap when you first take them out but they seem like they can take a beating. Ear cups are very soft leather like materials. I would give this a 9/10 for comfort, I can listen almost all day on these.
Sound quality, they are more bassy but not drown in it, my ears like it very much. Not sure how these compare to bose quiet comfort headphones but you get to cut the cord :D. The Noise canceling works alright, it has the default option or a best set option after analyzing the room. It does a decent job at cutting out lower pitch noises. These have pretty good volume on it. On max it can hurt your ears but yet I have heard people said its not loud enough. The volume controls are independent of each other on the player and the headphones. Calling works but it does sound like the person you are talking to is pretty far away. Over all I would recommend these headphones.
Only Con would be that they don't fold for better storage and it does not come with a harder case, comes with a soft one.
Run time 13 hrs on 1 Charge
I give this 9/10

Sorry, but Sony has the headset game won. I purchased these and was surprised at how light in weight they are and were very comfortable. I will never buy Beats headset or even consider them again. The sound quality is unmatched. These are almost half the price as well... if you can find them on sale (I got lucky). If you want a better feeling headset, better sounding, and to keep some dough in your pocket, then you can't go wrong with these. I'm not trying to sway anyone's decision, just try these out before any other brand, I guarantee others will disappoint.

These are noise-cancelling headphones, but I have tried them in a number of situations and did not find them to be effective. Sometimes, the background noise is muted somewhat, but still audible until I raise the volume to what is an unacceptable level for me. And another thing - Sony made the hole to attach the 1/8" connector so small that only their cable will fit. When I misplaced my original I tried numerous cables & none of them would work.
On the other hand, I am satisfied with the sound quality and they are pretty comfortable to me even after a long session, (they are truly "around the ear" phones). I thought the Bluetooth connection was pretty easy to manage & the battery seems to last long enough. But not everything has Bluetooth & every time I connect to my laptop with that special cable, it annoys the heck out of me. I didn't have very high expectations for the noise cancelling feature, but the proprietary cable seems an intentional annoyance.

I own about 9 pairs of headphones ranging from AKG to Sony ranging in price from around $80 to $500 bucks! I did not have a Bluetooth set of headphones in my collection so after a bit of research I decided to try the Sony MDRZX770BN/L, I was not disappointed! These Sony headphones come shipped with standard Bluetooth mode which is more reliable but not the highest sound quality possible. A simple button combination will place the headphones in an HQ Bluetooth mode which greatly enhanced the sound quality. The range is great, I was able to leave my phone in one room and go all over the house with no issues or drops. These are comfortable and light on the head so you can wear them for hours with no fatigue. The price is very reasonable for the quality of sound you get and they are probably one of the best BT headphones I demoed during my search. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a good quality BT headphone with noise canceling.

Good Headset for Open Office Work

Now a days, if you are not working in an open office environment now, you will be. Gone are the days of noise baffling, dark, prairie dog villages. If need to concentrate on some work, you need your own noise isolation.
I have used Sony Noise Canceling headsets and ear buds for a long time. These headsets are the culmination of years of design. They are over the ear, not on the ear, allowing you to wear them in the office for a long time.
They pair with your bluetooth on your smartphone (iOS or Android), and can be used as a telephone headset, if someone calls you on you cell. They will pair with your computer as well, but will only support Audio Playback, you don't have the remaining controls. You can also use a audio cable to the computer or phone.
Playback controls are located on the headset, with decent tactile cues to facilitate easy control of the volume, and music controls (Pause, Repeat, and Skip). If you want to overcome that pesky Open Office noise, music in addition to Noise Cancellation is key.

I had been looking for a set of headphones with the requirement that they were over-the-ear, noise cancelling, sounded good and did not hurt my ears. I went through the Harmon Kardon BT and Samsung Level Over, but returned both after they didn't meet my needs. I bought these Sony's during a sale, and they have everything I want! The ear cups don't look massive, but my ears fit comfortably (and fully) inside the cup. They sound fantastic, and the noise cancelling feature is good (not the best, but they work). I'm really happy with these so far (2 weeks in).
These headphones are really light but built pretty sturdy (the Samsung's seemed 5 times heavier).

I've owned and own a lot of different headphones including the more popular Bose Quiet Comfort and Beats Studio's. I love these Sony headphones better then both of those combined in both overall sound quality, reproduction, and bass. They are just balanced better I feel. They are definitely more comfortable than the Beats headphones, and the noise canceling works almost better than the Bose headphones.
To some it all up, at this price point, they are unmatched in sound quality and features!

Pros:
Bluetooth: Very good bluetooth range. I guess more than 35ft range.
Noise cancelling: I would say it cancels 70-80% noise. I have never tried any other noise cancelling headset. Noise isolation is pretty good, even with noise cancelling turned off.
Comfort: very good. Could have been better. But i could wear for 4hrs at a stretch without much discomfort.
Cons:
No hard protective case. The free pouch provided can only protect from scratches.

These are exactly what i had been looking for. Lightweight bluetooth headphones with adequete noise cancelling at a good price with great sound. These arent a flat sound headphone, they have typical Sony sound (which means a light bass emphasis). They aren't ridiculous with bass like Beats, but rather add just enough to make music fun. Again, if you know Sony you will know what that means. The noise cancelling is not on par with Bose, no one really is, howeveryou arent paying twice as much either. It is adequete, better than most others. They have the APT-X codec which is currently the best and only way you should listen to music via bluetooth if your device is capable. Will break down the pros and cons...
PRO
Amazing sound quality
Lightweight/comfortable yet stay in place
Long battery life (7-8 hours) / use standard micro usb charger
NFC pairing
Apt-X codec support
Adequete noise cancelling
Works passively w/cord (even with dead battery)
CONS
Dont come with a hard case
Seriously, if you are in the market for bluetooth headphones then you should give these a shot efore spending twice as much on a fad brand. If noise cancelling is your top priority then Bose is probably your answer. However, if anything else is your priority, give these a shot.

I bought these headphones because I travel a lot, it was on sale ($150 vs. $230), and they had relatively good ratings/reviews. I'm not an audiophile, but I think the sound is great (just as good as my Klipsch speakers). Battery life is pretty good (maybe about 10+ hours on a charge), and the noise canceling feature works well when I fly. When I first got them, I was disappointed because they sounded awful, but I found out that there are different sound quality settings (trading off sound quality vs. connection), so be sure to change the settings. I'm giving 4/5 stars because I would prefer lighter behind the head headphones, but given current engineering limitations, that might not be feasible (at any rate, there's always room for improvement).

Pros: The sound from the 40mm drivers is quite good and they are comfortable to wear indoors and on the go. I like that these easily pair with multiple devices (though not at the same time). The BT connection is very stable, works even across rooms and with many dozens of WiFi access points in the area in the same frequency band. Easily charged with any Micro USB cable and charger. Cons: The plastic used makes these look a bit cheaper than they really are and I have doubts whether these headphones are going to last a long time. The noise cancellation is adequate but far from the best available.

Excellent for Plane Flights

I bought these to wear on my more frequent and lengthy flights.
They performed excellently, they are light enough to wear for hours at a time if needed and they did a decent job of canceling the noise.
My ears would get sweaty after an hour, so I probably wouldn't recommend these for exercising even though they would be light enough to wear at the gym (not running though).
The noise canceling works well for background noise and low conversation sounds.
I did not run the battery down all the way even on some 18hr flights (used probably 10hr or thereabouts), so I do not know how the battery life really rates (I used them plugged in most of the time through the headphone jack when flying).
Overall I enjoy using these as they are my first moderately expensive over the ear headphones.

The sound on these bluetooth headsets are really good. The sound is towards the bass side but is pretty balanced. They need to be broken in for a few days but have been sound great since. Battery life is amazing on this too. Another plus is that they are built really solid. I would totally recommend.

I'm impressed with the comfort and quality of these headphones. I've been looking for a while, and these are the first with bluetooth that have struck a good balance of price/quality. The build quality is great, they feel solid without being too heavy, and they sit nicely on my head - no issues with being too loose or too tight. I can shake my head without any movement of the headphones.
Audio quality is just as good as Beats that I've tried, not quite as rich-sounding as Bose. The noise isolation just from having the headphones on is pretty decent. Add in the noise cancelling and some music and it gets very good. Noise cancelling outperforms my old Able Planet headphones, but isn't the best I've heard.
Bluetooth performance seems fine, though range is not huge. I'd estimate no more than 40-50 feet through drywall. Very easy to pair, especially if you use the NFC feature.
One complaint, the 3.5mm jack for using a hardwired audio connection is set deep into the plastic, so it does not accept some cables with a wider base.

Wanted a BT headset with noise cancelling for commute on the train. Found these on the shelf, even though I came in looking for Bose at about $70 more... These do a respectable job, surprisingly good bass and no "head set" sound that I can tell. Noise cancelling is most effective for lower frequency noise; I would really like a bit more and also to be effective against speech (or maybe an option?)
Got a second pair for my wife!

Headphones connect to computer, bluetooth adapter, and phone with ease. The sound is really clear and has good volume. They are very comfortable as well. Only issue I have is, just like other reviews, the noise cancellation feature is lacking. I don't notice any difference when the feature is on or off. However, since they are over the ear, they do provide a good amount of natural noise cancellation. These remind me of the good headphones that used to plug into the stereo receivers, but do not have the cord to deal with. Love the portability and take them with me everywhere.
