I love how clear this product is. You have to have two and sync them to a compatible Sony Soundbar. Turn this speaker all the way up to get the true surround sound effect, and then watch Gothem, Stand up comedy on Netflix.It blew my mind. I was going to get the HI DEF speakers but they were too rich for my blood. I'm glade I didnt get them because these little guys work well enough to make me feel like I'm in a movie or in the front seats at the comdey shows. They're amazing. I cant really speak on the music side, but I would imagine that they are just great. The power is strong and can get loud. It lacks the level of bass that I am a custom to, but thats not a deal breaker. Depending on the situation, they can shine bighter than the sun. This thing shines as a pair. they are amazing for the PS4 PRO, Youtube, 4K MOVIES, and especially Netflix.

Perfect addition to my Sony soundbar to complete my surround sound system. Love the size and sound they produce!! So glad I purchased Sony!!!! Now I have the complete Sony home theater system and I Love It!

This speaker pairs with my Echo dot seamlessly and has fantastic sound with perfect amount of bass & treble. It goes on standby mode after I stop the music on Alexa and when I voice request Alexa to play music all I have to say is "pair with speaker" prior to requesting Alexa to play Pandora, or whatever, the speaker automatically connects to the Echo dot again without me having to turn it on. So basically it stays "ON" but goes into standby mode (light on top of speaker turns orange) I've had a bose mini Bluetooth speaker for years and have loved it but the sound is so much better out of this thing! Supposedly it will connect to another like speaker for sound throughout the house (like the Sonos does) but I have not yet tried that feature yet but it was one of the primary reasons for buying 2 of them. Very pleased with this purchase!

Although Sonos is the 'gold standard' for WiFi speakers, I've been hesitant to buy Sonos because it is so proprietary. You can only connect to Sonos via WiFi, and only using specific services/apps that it supports. So I've tried out several of the more 'open' brands, looking for WiFi speakers that also support bluetooth and, ideally, Google Cast. But I've found most of them lacking in features, unreliable, or half-baked and not-ready-for-primetime. These Sony speakers, on the other hand, are great. Easy to pair in stereo. Reliably stay connected to network and one another. Surprisingly big sound in a very small package. Easily switch between WiFi and bluetooth modes, and can be hooked up to most televisions with an HDMI cable. Where some other Sonos competitors fall flat, Sony really did their homework and built well-designed, functional speakers.

The speakers were extremely easy to pair with my Sony sound bar and they sound awesome. The nice thing is you can adjust these speakers individually giving you the ability to work with the space that they are needed. Example one speaker might need to be at a 9 foot and the other one might need to be at a 5 foot, this will change the volume levels to suit that space.

Great small speaker. Can bluetooth to my i phone or with my Sony Soundbar on the TV. Portable although you need to plug it in to power it. A great sound and will be used as rear speakers for surround sound as well as a speaker to take into the spa for meditative music from the phone or other source.

Currently these outstanding compact versatile speakers are on sale for $99 a piece. Which is a phenomenal deal considering their capabilities along with their original price point of $199 a piece. I had purchased these speakers specifically for use with my Sony HTNT5 Soundbar, and these versatile compact speakers exceeded my expectations exponentially!!!! The soundbar pairing/setup was easy, so long as your soundbar has the ARC feature. If so, then all there is to it is for you to run a solid high-end HDMI cable (AudioQuest Carbon in my case.) from the soundbars ARC output to the televisions ARC input. Thus making everything run through the soundbar. There are numerous other ways to accomplish this, but if your television doesn't have an ARC HDMI input than it's going to be a bit more complex to setup. Anyways.... I have these Sony speakers working hard as my back left & right speakers. And they excel at this role without a doubt. As for the Speakers themselves; they have multiple capabilities from Bluetooth to multi-room play capabilities. These Sony speakers also have great range & depth in sound output. (These speakers are not expensive high-end speakers, however they do preform as a close second to these high-end speakers.) I would highly recommend these to anyone with Sony products and especially a Sony HDTV & accompanying soundbar. These Sony products when properly combined creates an outstanding minimalist look along with the capabilities to complete the encapsulation illusion of surround sound without breaking the bank. (Like you would on an expensive high-end stereo equipment setup.) I would recommend this product to anyone! It is well built as well as being an outstanding compact speaker. And at its current sale price you honestly cannot beat this deal!...

I'm using these speakers for my back surround speakers turns to the Sony sound bar. The setup was very simple and connected within 30 seconds via Bluetooth. When setting up through the sound bar it recognized if they were left or right which was cool. Can use these tomplaybright from phone or other Bluetooth device such as Amazon Echo or even through an HDMI stick that streams. Super happy with sound quality and high volume, watched Hacksaw Ridge with lots of explosions, background talking and gun fire and really brought the movie to life. Pairs well with a quality sub

I have a Sony XBR65x930c and I also purchased the Sony 4k Blueray player ubp-x800 and was hoping the Blueray player would serve as the hub to setup 2 of these speakers as rear surrounds. Unfortunately, these speakers only work as rear surrounds with 3 different sounds bars (HT-NT5, CT800, CT790) according to Sony's website. The sound was great when I tested them streaming YouTube videos. Otherwise, I wish they could work as rear surrounds using other Sony products.

The Sony SRSZR5 wireless surround sound speakers were a great addition to my home theater. I was able to quickly pair them with my Sony HTNT5 2.1 sound bar via bluetooth to create great audio!

The sound quality from these speakers is very clear and high quality with good tones. A weakness is the app provided for configuring remote connectivity. I wanted to use these speakers both connect as rear speakers for my TV surround sound, and to play music from my Android device. Switching to the Android music disrupts the connection to the TV and vise-versa. I have not yet found an easy way to easily switch between the two options using the app.

My initial surprise was the fact that the speaker is not totally "wireless". There is a power cord that must be plugged into a wall outlet. I did not see this requirement advertised on the Best Buy web site or in any of the information I looked at on the Sony web site prior to my purchase. This made set-up in my living room awkward for me due to how the room is arranged. Just be prepared to deal with this issue. I also had issues setting it up with my sound bar. When I called Sony customer support I was informed that given the serial number I provided the speaker was out of warranty. (I guess it must has sat on Best Buy's shelf to long). Given the fact I had just purchased it, Sony agreed to help me and I did get it working. The speaker itself performs well and the sound quality is good. The speaker also sets up on my home WiFi network and can be used with other devices. Overall, after my initial frustration, I am satisfied.

Got two of these as rear surround speakers to go with the Sony soundbar HT-NT5 I've had about 6 months already. I followed the instruction sheet and downloaded the "Music Center" app on my iPhone and then followed the step by step instructions on the app and now I can use them as separate music speakers or pair them together for stereo sound or link it with the soundbar for a movie. I can walk in go to settings and connect through the Bluetooth option and then start playing music. All sound options are on the app. They look great have a clear full sound and were a good value at $300 for the pair at Best Buy!

I bought a couple of these and they sound a lot better than I expected for the price. Easy to use by themselves and easy to pair with each other for stereo sound. They have a lot more low end than I expected from something as small as they are. It’s no replacement for a good surround sound system but for basic tv watching and music it’s more than worth it

took a little doing to get set up but works perfectly with my sony ht-ct800 sound bar. very good surround sound system with no wires.

Bought to accompany a htct790 sound bar, extremely simple to set up. Pair wirelessly , updates firmware on wifi, can't beat the HUGE sound in such a small package.

This is a really good wireless speaker. Can easily be used as a stand alone speaker for music. The connection to a sony sound bar is not very difficult either. I do believe the price is a little high if you are buying 1 for $200, but if you can get the 2 for $300, its pretty worth it.

Easy to install, once you find the instructions. However, the instructions are incomplete for connecting it as a surround speaker to a Sony sound bar. Not only that, but connecting it to the sound bar causes the speaker to lose wifi capability. But now that it is set up it works great.
