These headphones are great. Full robust sound range. The mega bass is really load so I set the volume down when using this feature. Long battery life on a charge. Best headphones for the $$$ especially since I purchased them on Black Friday at 50% off.

My wife scoped these out and they sound great. The extra bass is exactly that, you'll get good oomph when turning that function on. I like the fact that they are blue tooth and are comfortable over the ear. For the price, they are very well worth it.

My husband and I each bought a pair of these headphones. We are partial to Sony products, but we did research Beats and Bose before purchasing these. My husband actually took his back because he thought they were too big so he exchanged them for the Sony 650 series. However he went back again to get these again because they were more comfortable. We both love them! The sound is awesome, and you can turn the extra bass off. You can wear them as bluetooth headphones without any static or noise. Overall a great purchase and highly recommend!

These headphones are comfortable and sound great. They have good battery life and a good sounding mic as well. I have one complaint however. These headphones support bluetooth, and have a mic. You would think you could sync these headphones to a computer with bluetooth and use them as a gaming headset. Not as far as i can tell. It seems the mic is meant for phone calls and thats about it. When connected to a pc I could only get the mic or the audio working at the same time. I realize that it doesn't advertise itself as a gaming headset in any way, but it seems like such wasted potential for the product. How hard could it have been to make that function available?

Got tired of spending money on Beats when the real quality is from Sony. These headphones are greatness! Durable, stylish and they sound amazing. If I lost or broke these I would def buy them again! Please check these out, the base sounds amazing

This was my second set of over the ear headphone, and I must say I'm very impressed. I initially went with the Skullcandy Hesh Wireless 2 and the sound was mediocre. I tried these on and what a difference. First off, they are a much more comfortable headset to have on, which helps when listening for extended amounts of time. Second the Extra Bass button really kicks! It can sometimes be overwhelming even if you like bass. But It sounds really great for the most part. For the price you can't go wrong, it's much better than entry level and a good value for the price.

These headphones are amazing! Perfect, high quality and rich sound. They are light weight and very stylish (blue) and super comfortable. The extra bass boost is a nice added feature but they sound awesome even with this function turned off. If you see them on sale... don't hesitate... definitely worth the price!

Puts out great sound. Bass & treble amazing. Volume turned up half way puts out a nice punch even with bass booster off. Connecting to device took seconds. Ear piece is comfortable. Only downer is charging takes around 4 hours (when completely dead) plugged via USB to your computer. No power cord included.

I bought 3 for them in 3 colors @ $129 each. I checked Bose and Beat before buying these. Bose was totally rubbish @ $299 and Beat was just OK @ $299. Sony MDRXB950BT/L has like 3-4 times more Bass than Beat 4-5 times more than Bose. Totally love my Sony headphone. Its also very comfortable. Am using it with my iPhone 5s / 6+ / 6s+ & ipad mini

There are so many kinds of headphones, so many applications, and so many opinions that it can become difficult to know where to start. I decided to visit my local Best Buy and just listen to as many sets of headphones as possible. These really stuck out. Without the bass boost these are a solid set of headphones. They're very crisp and clear to my ears but still have a good low end. Most of the time I leave the bass boost off and just use the EQ on my phone or stereo and really enjoy them. But sometimes... sometimes you just need some intense bass. Once you kick in the bass boost I think these surpass Beats by a long shot. There is no lack of bass at all and it's optional. That really sealed the deal for me. They're really the best of both worlds. I didn't care too much about the fact that they're wireless but now I'm happy they are. It's also nice that they still have corded capability. If they run out of batteries and there no way you can charge them you can still use them with a cable. These are all around a great value and I'd highly recommend them.

I've had these headphones for about two months so far and they have been great. They sound awesome, are comfortable and it's battery last a long time. My only minor complain is that sometimes it's hard for my phone to connect to it and I need to restart the headphone ones or twice for it to connect.

Background: Before purchasing these headphones, I checked out several different options. I looked at the other over the ear headphones; you know, the ones that are named after a bright red vegetable, but could not bring myself to spending the asking price for them for the sound. Then I stumbled across these Sonys. After reading countless reviews and watching several videos, I went into Best Buy to check them out. At first, they seemed a little large. However, the sound was amazing and I have not used any others that are this comfortable. After listening to them, I decided to purchase them. Setup/Unboxing: In the box, there are the headphones, charging cable, aux. cable for if the battery dies, owners manual, and warranty info. These headphones are ridiculously easy to set up. Depending on your phone, there is an app that can be downloaded and makes setup a snap. The NFC setup is really easy to use: once set up on your phone, the headphones can be paired as easily as tapping your phone to the right earphone cup. If you have several bluetooth devices paired to your phone, this feature is incredibly useful. Controls: The control layouts are intuitive and are relatively easy to use without looking at them after some use. The left cup houses the power button, power indicator, Bass Boost button, charge port, aux input for if the battery dies, and the mic. The right cup houses the volume rocker, song skip/rewind/pause buttons, and the NFC chip for one tap pairing. Sound: The sound on these headphones is pretty amazing. Sure, there are better sounding headphones out there. However, for the price, wireless convenience, and comfort these can not be beat (IMO). With the Bass Boost off, the sound is well balanced for general listening. For those early morning, adrenaline filled gym sessions, the Bass Boost kicks in hard for hip hop and rock music. Conclusion: Overall, very good headphones for general use. Even though they are large, they are comfortable while running or lifting weights. At the asking price, I feel they are a very good deal.

I wasn't looking for headphones when I bought these but when I put them on and heard how good they where, I had to get them. Love the bass boost button and the overall sound quality, feel and comfort was enough to sway my purchase.

this item is worth every penny, for starters the battery life last for days with a rated 24hr playback. bass hits hard and fits comfortable

Had previously bought wireless Sony Bluetooth headphones about 6 years ago for my son, model DR-BT101. still work great. Decided to upgrade them for him this Christmas. Was going to buy the Beats by Dre wireless headphones which is what my son had interest in. read many reviews on the Beats and didn't like the durability issues. found the Sony Extra base on sale for $99 did some research and after many reviews read I decided to go with the Sony. They sound great loved the price. was cheap enough was able to purchase 3 yr warranty and was still cheaper than Beats by Dre. Totally happy with this purchase. Only thing I would have like to see come with these would be a case to store them in. Anyone have any suggestions on a clamshell type case for these??? But best of all my son absolutely LOVES these new headphones!!!!!

My son loves the clarity and definition in the sound! Mostly though, he loves the bass boost. He's 16 & uses these wireless headphones while working out at the gym! He said they're better than the Beats and the price was right!

I purchased these headphones on black Friday at half price($99.99) and I feel like I got a great deal. Some should only purchase them if you enjoy bass. I recommend potential buyers to watch unboxing and reviews on YouTube, as I did to get a better understanding about these or any other products you may purchase. The highs and mids are good, not great but the lows(bass) are great and then you have the bass boost button. Be Careful using it because it is excessive to say the least. I considered the JBL Everest 300, two other Sony models(MDR-ZX770BT/MDR-ZX330BT) and these won hands down. Passive noise cancellation due to the large deep earcups and the ability to use them corded when the battery dies were selling points for me. They look like a typical Sony product, but some potential buyers might consider them too large for their liking. It will be all personal choice. The only cons, not dealbreakers were they don't fold up for storage, but lay flat and no storage case/pouch was included.

I got this pair on a whim while replacing my Sol Republic TracsAir , which BB doesn't sell in store anymore. They were on sale to be the same price, so win there. They are very comfortable, and I've worn them about 8 hours a day at work for a week now. They never hurt my ears like other pairs have. I'm not a huge fan of the button setup, and I wish the audio cable was of the split variety, instead of the cable just going to one ear. (This is so I could listen to two sources of audio at once, as I did on the Tracks Air) The sound quality is very good, and the bass boost sounds great. The headphones also do not appear to bleed audio to the environment very much. Overall, a very nice pair of headphones. I'd recommend if you like Bluetooth and will be listening to audio many hours a day.

These headphones are great, they cancelle noise and on full volume people around you can't hear your music. They are super conformable and won't irritate your ears after long hours wearing them. This is due to to fact that they rest over yours ears as opposed to directly on top of them. The bass boast is an added plus to this, and the ability to change them from wireless to wired is perfect for when you forget to charge them. Battery life is great, can go 3-4 days of constant use without charging.

I really like these headphones and on sale for $200 I feel they were well worth the price. They sound great to me, whatever that's worth. The bluetooth and NFC pairing work great and are really convenient. Physical buttons work well, are easy and natural to reach and appear durable. Imo they're very comfortable for headphones which are never perfect for me, The battery life is fantastic and although I don't like how they look too much, imo they're not ugly and I do love the blue.
