Coming from the overpriced Beats headphones, these are better sounding and cost less. If you’re into bass, these are the headphones to get. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because it seems that there isn’t a manufacturer out there that makes loud headphones anymore. The loudest volume on every headphone I’ve tried is just not loud enough in my opinion. I know it probably has something to do with saving our hearing, but I should have that choice anyway. One other thing I liked about these headphones is that they don’t come with that annoying noise canceling feature. If I wanted to hear white noise, I’d turn on an old tube television set and tune to a blank channel.

They are comfortable, plenty loud. If you want clarity like Bose, this is close, if you want bass like Beats, turn on the bass boost and it's just as good. Half or less than half the price. Wireless, skip music from headset, answer your phone. Great headset. I can wear them for a couple hours no problem. Noise cancelling is great. What they advertise is what they deliver.

These headphones are absolutely wonderful. A big plus is being able to use them wired when the battery is dead. I tried multiple high end brands, including Beats Wireless, and these were by far my favorite. The battery is rated at 10 hours, but after working out with them for 1.5 hours then listening at home, I fell asleep and they were still playing the next morning. They blow any other headphones out of the water with the XB setting (only negative is, the XB setting doesn't work when listening wired). Beats may sound slightly clearer, but if you're looking for GREAT sound and Bass, get these.

I've had issues syncing my phone to my headphones in the past with bluetooth headphones. I can sync this headphones at ease. It was a true plug & play experience. The sound is pretty good. The default bass is good. I rarely utilize the extra bass booster option. Only downside is they aren't noise cancelling headphones. With that said, I wouldn't recommend using these to answer phones because the person on the other side will get irritated because of the background noise. If you are looking for something other than Beats, an entry level price point for headphones, this is it!

These headphones sound great, the extra bass is to much on most songs, depends on your taste. What's real impressive is the battery that seems to stay charged forever. Very comfortable unless one has huge ears then there might be a problem. I suggest trying them on.

I bought these after listening to them in the store, and they sound great. The sound isn't muddy (can hear the high's and lows pretty clear), the Bluetooth works seamlessly, and the battery lasts for days on a full charge, talking on the phone with them also works very well. The bass is very strong, although these aren't classified as noise cancelling you don't have to worry about hearing any outside noise while listening to your music. Highly recommended (especially if you listen music with a lot of bass)

I don't know if these are worth full price, but when they are on sale, or you have gift cards, or if you have RZ points...GET THEM. They are comfortable. They sound great. There's a bluetooth bass boost, but it's really not needed. What's really cool is that there's an included cable that allows you to use them as corded headphones and not over bluetooth....that save the battery life. The battery life is excellent, I've used it for hours and hours and have yet to even come close to needing a recharge.

Very quality sound and battery does not die out very easily. Light weight and comfortable cushioning for prolonged usage.

The first thing I noticed was the crystal vela sound of every note, even with the bass booster on nothing was distorted. The next was the battery life, on one full charge the battery lasted well over a week's worth of workouts with a minimum of two hours a day. Lastly I want to give Sony credit for outstanding craftsmanship. These headphones are by far the most durable that I've had.

These are good pair of comfortable over-ear drivers serves the very purpose of listening to quality music with extra bass, wireless/wired options. I have Sony MDR X-10 for a year now. Those sound great too. Only problem with X-10 to me is on-ear design; cannot use for long hours with pair of glasses on eyes and sticks between headphones, ears, and skull. These new XB-950 solve my problem. I have been using these for over a month now, and also have taken them along on a vacation. I'll put my experience describing these in two different modes: 1. Headset/wireless mode: No strings attached, pair or connect using NFC, stay on using Bluetooth connection. In this mode you can use music controls (play, pause, next, forward, previous, backward, volume up/down). They sound decent. The bass kicks in when you hit the little button to turn orange back-light on - Electronic Bass Boost (EBB)! Sounds really great, way above "Dr. Beats". Connected to smartphone, you can use these as headset with built-in mic, accept/reject calls and control in-call volume. Battery is nice too. They say 10 hrs of music, but I think it's way more. Didn't have to charge them throughout my 7 day trip. 2. Headphones/wired mode: Connect a 3.5 mm audio cable and all the above cool features are turned off. These work as a normal decent sounding headphones - no EBB, music controls, mic, etc. This definitely saves battery and you no more feel the damage to your precious brain being so close to Bluetooth/wireless radiations. The music quality here could be compared to "Dr. Beats". Pros: - Great audio quality with EBB and controls in headset mode - Good Battery life - Option to switch to wired mode when you need to save battery or avoid Bluetooth - Comfortable over-ear design for long hours listening (even with a pair of glasses) Cons: - Headphones modes is not good enough, comparatively - No carry case

The sound quality before I even turned on the bass boost was already outstanding. Once I hit the button I was blown away by how incredible the sound and clarity was. I listen to a bit of everything but mostly R&B and Dubstep. They were able to handle every range I threw at them. The only down fall that I was able to find was that the enhanced audio is not operable while being used with the wire. But they charge fast and last plenty long enough to even worry about it.

It took a long time for me to make a decision on a pair of Bluetooth headphones. I kept going back to listen to all the headphones that I could. I ended up going with these when they went on sale for Cyber Monday. I have not been disappointed. They have excellent sound with amazing bass. The battery last forever also.

I've had these headphones for a couple months now and I've had no issues with them so far. The battery life is great and the sound is good for what I paid for them. I did get these on sale during black Friday. They are quite heavy on the bass even with the bass boost off. The padding on the ear-cups is fairly thick and I've been able to wear these for 5+ hours and not feel uncomfortable. I bought these online and I would suggest looking at them in store so you can compare them to the blue and red versions that best buy carries as you might like the look of those more.

I have had an excellent expierence with these headphones. They have connected to every device I own and have great fidelity for everyday use. I like that they are lite weight, comfortable on my ears and the battery seems to last forever. I have only had them for about three or four months but I would replace them with the same set if anything happened to them.

These headphones are amazing! The bass and clarity that comes from these headphones is comparable to any high end headphones. A big plus is the battery life; It can last up to 10 hours on one charge. A great benefit is that the battery life display shows up on my IPhone 6. I use them for the gym and they hold up very well. I'm just worried about the padding around the ears since I sweat a lot during workouts, I hope it doesn't start to peel/wear off.

Amazing sounding for the price! IMO, much better sounding than double the price bose headphones. The added bass boost really drives the sound into your head. 20 hour battery life and a 4 hour recharge time make these perfect gym headphones. Surprisingly light and very comfortable.

These headphones are super comfy, have a long lasting battery, Bluetooth or cable options which is nice you don't have to stop listening if they die. The controls on the headphones are easy to use. Great sound quality, good bass, and they get pretty loud.

I have been wanting a pair of BT headphones for some time and had seen these Sony headphones before, but did not want to spend $200. They went on sale for half price and I grabbed a pair to try out. Connected easily to my iPhone 6s and my desktop computer. Have good sound and are comfortable to wear. Very happy with the purchase.

Don't spend the extra $$$ for an inferior product. These headphones have fantastic battery life, amazing sound just in normal mode and if you want some extra bass, just press the button and you will have more than enough without the distortion. Great build quality also sets them apart. The only thing is I wish they would have came with a case for some added protection. Either way, 5 star product from Sony.
