The Sony Extra Base Wireless Headphones live up to all the reviews that I read before purchasing them. They have great sound even without using the Extra Base, but when you do the sound is fantastic. Did not think you could get this good of base from headphones. They are very comfortable to use for several hours at a time. The Bluetooth works perfect on my computer and my new 4K TV. The only negatives are they do not indicate how much battery life is left or when it is full charged AND you can not charge them using a wall plug USB converter like you can you cell phones. It is not always convenient to use a computer to recharge the battery. That being said, I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone wanting to hear their music at its best or watch a loud action packed movie after normal people in the house have gone to bed.

I'll start by saying I've owned bluetooth headphones and speakers and these set the high water mark. My $80 wired ear buds, although great quality, became uncomfortable after 1 1/2 hrs. My bluetooth speaker had limited time and not good for music on the go. These headphones last nearly the full 20 hours listening at moderate volume with periodic bass boost. That brings up the boost. It's wonderful having the capability to have the boost or a cleaner sound, unlike many that you're locked into how it's preprogrammed. The fit is soft enough not to cause sore or hot spots, yet firm enough to stay on through moderate exercise (so no head thrashing). I wore these for 8 hours straight with only light sweat and warmth building under the pads. For a name brand you get amazing "bang for your buck." I will pick these over my Beats any day.

I got these when they were on sale for $129.99, making them significantly less than the next-cheapest wireless, over-ear headphones. At their full price of $199.99, the field is more competitive, but the sound quality is very good and they give you the option to listen to your music unaltered or to add bass for some songs where it makes them sound better. It is a little annoying that the bass boost is only usable when listening wirelessly, but they are still very good. The battery life is quite good, reaching its claims, the wireless doesn't have delay, so there is no sync issue when watching movies, and the controls are easy to use. Overall very good product. The only small issue that I have is that the ear cups are a little small, so people with medium-large ears may experience pressure on the edge of their ears.

The headphone is very comfortable on the ears.. doesn't cause any sort of inconvenience even wearing for long time.. Sound clarity is extraordinary.. Noise isolation - This headphone has very good noise isolation. Sound is not heard outside the headphones.. tested.. Noise Canceling - I am not sure why products like Bose QC25 charge so much.. This headphones is pretty at noise cancelling as well. I am not able to hear outside sound unless I take off my headphones.. Extra bass feature is too good!! Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of the product.. I would definitely buy this instead of spending addition $100-$200 on Beats or Bose..

Big bass, easy controls, lightweight, comfortable and the sound is excellent.

These headphones are great, they're just excellent. And if you love Bass there is a button that will increase the Bass dramatically and its awesome because its an optional button. it can only be turned on when your using the headphones with Bluetooth which I'm sure you will because it another great feature to these headphones. If for a reason you cant use Bluetooth because you have no battery you can use the aux cord with no charge required which is yet another awesome feature. The size and looks aren't the best for public use or having around your neck to look cool, but that's the only con if you even consider that a con. Even the price is not bad at all compared to other headphones. Overall great headphones recommend to anyone.

I like alot of bass. Whether it be for blu rays or edm music or rock music, I love to have the deep bass sound. I wondered into best buy this Christmas looking for a new set of headphones. Online I couldn't find any wireless ones for less than 200 dollars so I decided to go try on some wired ones in store. I listened to bose, beats, skull candies and these Sony headphones. These Sony's destroyed them all. For a little over 100 dollars I got the bass of beats and skull candies, coupled with near sound quality of the bose line. And they have a button to turn the bass boost off if it happens to be too much for your taste. One charge can last days without needing a recharge. Built in mic for telephone calls. Super comfortable. Wireless to boot. Best headphones out right now in my opinion. Good job sony.

These Sony Bluetooth headphones are great over the ear headphones! I got them half price as a cyber Monday deal, but they are well worth the full price. Go into your nearest Best Buy store and try them out if you are hesitant. I was impressed with both the sound quality and the comfort of these compared to other more popular sets. Easy to pair and outstanding battery life!

This is one of the best purchasing decisions Ive ever made! Got these during Black Friday for $89 and I cannot believe the audio performance that they give! Very deep, rich bass and super responsive to an external equalizer to balance the sound as desired! No one believes how great these sound until I let them listen for themselves, and then they are struck with awe at the fact that this kind of sound is coming from a wireless device! Battery life is exceptional at AT LEAST 20 hrs. per charge (I feel like I get more than that, but I've never let it completely die out). Traveled to San Antonio from Michigan via plane and this made my layovers to and fro a breeze, as I zoned out in complete musical immersion with these phones. Was fairly easy to learn how the bluetooth pairing works with these, and was able to pick up a case for these from Amazon.com. Phone usb charger works fine to charge these, and comes with audio cord for corded connection if desired (or needed if battery is low or dead). Tested the corded sound and it is still exceptional regardless of how you use them, bass and all. Being budget-conscious, I would NEVER pay $200 for a pair of headphones, but i must admit that in this case, you would definitely get what you paid for if you did! They are definitely worth far more than the $89 I stole them for! ;) These are EXCELLENT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, especially if you can catch them on sale or are able to drop the $200!

I have many over the ear head phones, including the wireless Beats head phones but they broke due to the week plastic head band. I needed a new pair that were blue-tooth, I have always been pleased with Sony products soI did some research with Sony and found the extra bass model: PROS...Amazing sound quality even when plugged in with the audio jack, ( I currently have a cheep pay as you go phone and the music quality from you-tube and my own saved music is phenomenal even still) the phone quality is above average considering what else is currently on the market when using the Bluetooth feature, construction is solid especially when it comes to the aluminum head band. The extra base function really opens up the true abilities of the head phones. CONS... It does not come with a travel case when most other head phones come with one in the same price group ( though I have thrown my pair in my back pack along with books and other things and they always come out fine so they can take a beating), you can not use the extra base function when plugged into the audio jack, and the line cord isn't as beefy as other cords with there respective headphones. All in all the cons do not outweigh the pros and it is a product that I would recommend to anybody looking for an audio entertainment enjoyment.

I'm a bass player and was looking for a quality headphone that didn't skimp on the low end. Well, this Sony doesn't disappoint. The standard sound has just the right amount of bass but when you press the bass boost it gets almost cartoony with the bass. It's a bit too much. There needs to be a dial or a multi-press button for varied degrees of bass. I also wish the highs were more pronounced. The ear cushions are very comfortable and the design is nice. It has a long battery life but I wish the Bluetooth range was a bit better. The price point is great. I could buy a few of these in different colors ( one for work and another for home). These are half the price of the Beats and sound better! I love the pivots on the ear pads because sometimes I use one ear pad and keep the other ear free to listen to live sounds and conversations. My Beats didn't have a swivel and the headband broke several times and I got frustrated buying spare parts and reparing them!

These are fantastic Bluetooth headphones. I like the fact that they are over the ear, it gives them a noise canceling effect. They are very bulky but they make up for that with great sound and a long battery life. I use my pair almost every day for several hours a day and the battery last for about a week. I've never had a problem pairing them with any of my apple products (iPhone, iPad, MacBook). The base boost sounds great and I love the fact that you're no longer tided to your device with a wire (it does come with one that you can use in case your battery dies). I went with this pair instead of the Bose wireless because it is over the ear and cost less. You get more for your money with these headphones. The only thing about these that annoys me is that you get hot while wearing them and my long hair sometimes gets stuck in them but what headphones wouldn't do that. Overall these are wonderful Bluetooth headphones and I highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend these headphones. Read many reviews of different headphones and for the price these just couldn't be beat. The base is amazing. They fit snug around your head and very comfortable for all occasions. The only drawback is they do not include a carry case. I picked one up on Amazon for under $20. Well worth the money!

These are as close to be noise canceling that you can get without being noise canceling. They pack a punch & are made for android products. If you love bass get these. If you don't want alot of bass just turn off the bass boost button. For the price you can't go wrong.

Was looking for headphones with great sound and versatility for wireless or use with cord for classic iPod. Of all the expensive brands, Sony still has amazing sound for a reasonable price! Caught these on sale and I'm very satisfied. Love the extra bass boost and extended battery life! Very clear sound on cell calls. Sony for life!

I enjoy using these comfortable bluetooth headphones. They connect to my ipad quickly and sound good and are comfortable. A bit bass heavy but ok if bass boost is off. Would give 5 stars if it had noise cancelling as well. But a great value with best buy's price match program.

These headphones are the best ones I've ever owned. I can't really compare them to beats because I have never owned those, but I can say the bass sounds great and the bluetooth works well. The battery lasts forever it seems. These are a great value for the money.

Great headphones, battery life is excellent. The sound of these things are awesome. I sold my old Bose noise canceling set after getting these. Do not get the over hyped "beats" headphones. These actually have more bass, so much that I don't use the bass boost feature. One star knocked for extra controls for something that doesn't get used

I bought these for my son for Christmas and he loves them. He wanted the beats by dre studio which is around the same price, but we think the sound quality is just as good if not better. Tye wireless feature is great also. And he can turn the extra bass on and off with a single push of a button. We are definitely happy with our purchase.

These headphones have amazing bass! Their bluetooth functionality is a major plus and they are very comfortable. The only down side is that they can make your ears a bit hot and you cant use the bass boost if you are using them with the 3.5mm headphone jack.
