We only had it for a month since we bought it, The screen started changing color, then my husband wasn't even able to type or select anything on the screen. Its been more then a month and we cant even return it anymore. Don't waist your money.

I've had this phone for a few days and absolutely LOVE it! I've owned several top tier premium phones; iPhone, Samsung Note, etc and this Sony is in the same class as those. It's at least as fast as an S8 for 1/3 the price. The screen is bright with good colors, but not as good as a new model iPhone or S8 (again, 1/3 the price though). The camera takes amazing pictures; very sharp as expected from a 23MP f/2.0 lens. Not as vibrant as the Samsung camera but more true to life. Battery life is good; easily lasting a full day of normal to heavy use. Pros: VERY fast Simple Android GUI; no add-ons like TouchWiz Bright screen Great camera Android 7 out of the box Call quality is excellent Cons: No Wi-Fi calling in US model

I've only had it a few days but this phone is great! Looks pretty cool and pretty snappy! Had an LG G4 which stopped working, then had to endure a 2015 Moto E burner phone for about 4 months. Decided to give Sony a try and so far have not been disappointed. The only thing I wish it had was a bigger battery and a gyroscope so I could use it with Google Cardboard. Although with pretty decent usage I think it should be able to last me until I get home (first day I've had it at work, but I just went ahead and bought a couple of extra chargers for the office just in case). But at only $300 it does everything I need it to and much more. I think I'm done with flagship phones after this purchase.

Maybe my expectations are too low but I really dig this thing. Feels great in my hand, works quickly, camera is good, and battery life has been great. Accessories are not very abundant, speakerphone needs a little more volume, and I've only had it for a few weeks, but I'd be dishonest to really complain about anything. For $300 I feel like I got more than what I paid for.

This is a great phone definitely. I had all of these phones before: Sony Z1 Compact, Sony Z3 Compact, Sony Z5 Compact, Sony X Performance, and had a chance to play more than one day with that: HTC One, Samsung S6, Samsung S7, iPhone 6, iPhone SE. I am still thinking to buy a Sony XZ1 Compact, but my previous phone is cracked and I needed any good phone until this phone would come on the market. Pros: - It is feeling as 6mm thickness not as 8mm - Camera is definitely great. With good light - pictures are awesome (if you are not shaking the phone when you make a picture - no stabilization). - Screen is pretty good too. - Speed of Android 7.0 - perfect, no lack at all (octa-core processor). - Connection is perfect (much better than Z5 Compact or X performance) - two more bars at least. Cons: - Speaker sound pretty quite (I am using Bluetooth speakers) - Not waterproof (no washing phone anymore) - No fingerprint (easy to unlock and login to any websites) But for this price this is really really nice phone!!! P.S. I am using T-Mobile - no issue at all LTE/4G - works fine
