After the software upgraded (recommended by Xperia), The phone can't start anymore

It was an excelente phone! Really good camera and memory!

At first I was nervous about purchasing this phone. A lot of people didn't like where he volume buttons were located. But once you use it for a while its still very natural and doesn't bother me at all (Used it for about two weeks now) Also, I did a lot of research because I love photography and wanted a phone with a good camera. And it does perfectly! Makes me so happy with the pictures it produces. The phone says its water "Resistant" and that it will work with everyday spills and such. Well it does! I was able to catch Pokémon while in a downpour in Disney without the raindrops freaking out my screen. (My husband's phone with raindrops on it was flinging his pokeballs everywhere) I took a video with my camera underwater and it worked perfect as well! Also Video Quality is fantastic. Beyond Fantastic! You know when you video a concert how most times all you can hear from the video is the vibrating/buzzing bass?? This phone doesn't!! You can hear all the audio perfectly! I was so excited and nervous to try it out a concert and so happy with the videos I got!

Got on sale for 499, not bad....but what? No earbuds? Yes, so look closely at "what's included", because the box has a nice empty cavity where the earbuds should go. Why? Ha! So you can choose and buy your own right at BB and they make a little more profit. It's a bit of a blow, but that's business. So get it cheap, and use your old earbuds. However....Sony always has so much better phones than the Apple - just too bad many folks in the US don't know that. But then again, I never use Verizon or Sprint.

Received my phone about 2 weeks ago. So happy with it. Good camera, good connectivity. Battery lasts long enough. The only concern was when I received the phone box was not sealed. I hope I didnt get refurbished one. Anyone else had same experience?

A fantastic device, material, great to hold, cameras are top notch. Display excellent. USB-C connector to. Easy to charge. Only downside no fingerprint scanner. But overall XZ are a option in pair with iPhone 7 or the best Samsung got. Also a big plus that Sony using a "clean" Android version with no modifications like many other brands.

It's so hard nowadays to get a cellphone with an awesome speakerphone. The LG phones usually have an extremely loud speakerphone but according to reviews, they are having a lot of system issues. So that prompt me to get the Xperia XZ. Well, I love everything about the phone but the main thing I look for in a cellphone is the speakerphone quality. The speakerphone on this phone sucks in my opinion. I tried downloading sound booster apps and nothing help make it sound louder and better. I'm still deciding if I want to keep the phone but this is seriously making me mad more and more every time I try using the speakerphone again.

Sony has no US repair options. If you get this you should get the warranty from Best Buy. No third party companies offer repairs on this or older phones and Sony won't support repairs. Their warranty on US repair policy is "buy a new one"
