Q: does this version have the fingerprint sensor?
A: No, but you can flash an international firmware (no root needed) to get the fingerprint scanner activated, it is software disabled in the US version.
Q: Does this come with the fingerprint scanner working? Is this dual sim or single sim?
A: The fingerprint sensor is there but you will need the UK firmware to make it enabled. Pretty easy to do and does not void the warranty because it is still official Sony firmware.
A: Yes it heats up dangerously even with a few minutes of video recording and closes the app automatically. Very annoying! There may be a restocking fee if you want to return (beware)!
A: Probably true. I have been hearing lately that CDMA cellular providers now allow the use of unlocked GSM phones. Even CDMA phones have a slot for a SIM card, so I do not see any reason why this would not work. Fortunately, if there are any problems, Best Buy should let you return the phone.
Q: will this phone work on the Verizon network?
A: Yes it will according to Verizon. Verizon sends out a new Sim card for free and once plugged in, it will work. CDMA and GSM are no longer causing issues of compatability. As long as the phone is unlocked and has sim slot...it's fully functional on Verizon now.
Q: is the charger with it the "fast charger" or just a regular one?
A: This model has an adaptive charger.
Q: is there a FM radio built in?
A: Sadly, Sony discontinued the FM radio feature and it does not come with headphones.
A: No, not in the U.S. version. Only the international version will come with headphones.
