Horrible sound bar mount

My first appointment was rescheduled because the technician arrived and said it needed to be a “two person” call because TV needed to be removed and remounted. I had to reschedule a second appointment to mount our sound bar. The second appointment two technicians came out they really didn’t want to remove the TV from the wall to mount the sound bar instead they mounted the sound bar stuffed the wires up behind the TV and now every now and then wires slide down from behind the TV. I didn’t know the technician did that until days later. Now, once again, I have to schedule a third appointment. The second appointment was disappointing and unprofessional due to the unwillingness to complete the job correctly.

Please help! I have spent over 10 thousand dollars at Best Buy this year. I have yet to have a problem until now.... I recently purchased $3000 of home theater equipment. I decided to go through Best Buy to mount and install my TV, sound bar, blue ray and harmony remote. Best sent a 3rd party installation company ( with out telling me). The night went down hill from there. They broke my TV. Dented my sound bar and used my brand new couch as a work bench. After the installation team lied and said it was a defect. They left the broken tv mounted and left. They said that Best Buy would replace it and not to worry. I have spent full days on the phone with Best Buy and have got passed around to all different divisions who said this is not their job. I don't know where to turn. I am down 3000 dollars and days of my time. Worst experience you will have.

Had at home installation, problems from the door. Not enough room for the new tv over the fireplace, but after the install there’s still 1 1/2 feet above that could have been used. Next, couldn’t get sound bar onto the sound bar mount, screws weren’t long enough. Then there wasn’t enough room for the mount anyway so had to just lay it on the mantle. It’s been about 10 days now after install. Haven’t really had time to watch tv since we just moved into this new house. Finally decided to watch some tv and the sound bar isn’t working. Power is on , lights come on just no sound. Of course the installers left me with no manuals, even ask them but they said I really shouldn’t need them, everything is on line. Tried calling the store and Geek Squad but can’t get around the automated system to speak to a human. Just returning the sound bar since it’s useless to me

Geek squad installation gentleman named Brian was hands down professional, personable and explained everything I needed to know and got it done quickly. It couldn't have been better and I hope this review speaks to his character and abilities. 5 Stars plus for Brian the Gerk Squad professional. The people who made the delivery of the first and second refrigerator, left me many holes and damage to the wall of the entire staircase, the wooden railing, I have already made about 25 claims and still no one calls me to repair the walls of my house I have called several times and sent several emails, I have not received any response and my walls are peeling more with the damages caused by the subcontractors of the delivery and installation

My delivery was fine. Set up was not. Sonos playbar placed behind tv, wires left hanging. Attaching a couple of pictures. I expected someone who was at least familiar with system and delivery person left with thing not done- volume not working, a mess. I am 72 and disabled. I expected better from you guys, not leaving my house like this! Sound bar supposed to be in front of new tv, not behind. I cannot lift it to set it up myself! Plus I never got 10% off as I bought this on 8/15/21, my birthday. Very upset.

Horrible installation ..the sound bar is hanging almost ready to fall..i called and explained the situation and another person was supposed to come and fix it..never came and my call was closed…horrible experience with geek squad and Best Buy..Best Buy send me gift card but has not been used because I don’t know if I ever will buy something from you guys…she left holes in my wall..I invite any supervisor to come and see the horrible jog…

Coulda done better myself after getting hammered drunk. Did not even use Sheetrock anchors and it’s falling off the wall.

I got this service to install a sound bar and hide cables behind my tv. 3 hours of work later, my wall is covered in holes, the sound bar was off center and my cables were not hidden. Not using again.
