SP:TFBW is filled to the toilet brim (and over-filled at times) with fun and notable SP humor and characters. For players familiar with the TV show or previous game (TSoT), there's 25-30 hours of enjoyment found in lampooning super hero media saturation, and socio-political issues. Even with all the surface-based crassness, there are numerous touching moments amid all the toilet jokes that actually connect you deeper to the children and the plight of seeing our flawed world through they eyes of a 4th Grader. Overall, there's a lot of value (including possibilities of crossing the Canada Border Wall in an upcoming DLC) and I highly recommend picking it up for fans and non-fans of the series. However, if you're easily offended - or can't appreciate scathing satire that may challenge your beliefs or tolerance - then you might reconsider this purchase.

The game play can best be described as adequate. There's not a whole lot to the combat system but the story and the humor in this game are top notch if you're a fan of the show. Great fun.

This game picks up where Stick of Truth leaves off. If you enjoyed that game, you will definitely like this one. The SteelBook edition is great because it starts you off with materials that will help from the start. I would recommend joining Ubisoft club to get some free perks.

I would be more than happy to write a lot of hot air about this game, though I would rather not spoil any of the new kids powers for you. Seriously hilarious and fun to play, especially if you enjoy the lewd and absurd humor that is Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

If you played the last one then you know what you are in for. This one picks up right where the other left off and begins a new story. Graphics and combat are improved, story is funny and fun. I got the gold edition which came with lots of goodies :)

If you like South Park and all the crude and hilarious humor that goes along with it then this sequel to the Stick of Truth is just for you! Great gameplay and story moves this game along and provides great entertainment for hours.

I love this game. Everything that South Park should be. Awesome references to early series gags and jokes. It was every bit offensive and juvenile as anything tagged South Park should be. Thank you Trey, Matt & Ubisoft

My wife wanted the game and, like in the first one, she wanted to play a black character (she's black, wants to relate). She laughed when she noted race is tied to difficulty, with Very Difficult being the requirement to be black. This is just the first of many jokes in the game that make you laugh at how disturbingly accurate the satirical show can be.

It's a little similar to The Stick of Truth, with some upgrades to the combat system. But you're really playing this because you're a South Park fan, and it's a long, interactive episode -- and it delivers on that front. Lots of raunchy humor. The steelbook version is nice (though the outer sleeve fits a bit too tight) and the season pass inclusion is nice.

I’m a retro gamer totally. I hate having to create accounts with every new game, or publisher. I like retro games because it’s plug and play, or plug, blow and play in the case of cartridges. But this game was available on demo so I said wtf, lets try it. I loved it! The Stick of Truth is included and all progress for those who have played it before DOES TRANSFER OVER. Think it it like Destiny & Destiny 2 where if you played the first one you’re ahead of the other people. You level up by using the toilet. What more would you expect from South Park!! The only 5 Star I’ve left for a video game released in 2017.

The Fractured But Whole picks up where The Stick of Truth left off. While the structure of game play is quite similar, they've upgrade the mechanics to be a bit more robust. For example you can move characters during a battle, but this does add the nuance that offense characters block one another's attacks, take knock backs, or line up for offensive attacks. Some new characters show up but they're all from the show. Humor level is top notch. I would definitely recommend the gold edition as it includes a number of extras including a digital version of The Stick of Truth. This is a great buy with GCU.

Bought this game not so much for the gameplay but because it is like you are playing in the show. Really liked The Stick of Truth so I pre-ordered this game. At first I didn't like the gameplay of the fighting because it was different then Stick of Truth but after a while you get use to it. Very funny with all the different stuff you have to do and characters you come across. If you are easily offended then don't buy this game they find a way to make fun of everyone. Also not a game for kids I have to kick my kids out of the room or play this late at night when they are in bed.

Did you like South Park The Stick of Truth? Do you like RPG games? Then buy this. If you don't like any of these, then do NOT Buy. If you like...BUY!

Both a big improvement and more of the same compared to Stick of Truth. The more tactical combat is a nice addition, but mostly repeated locations take away a bit (I know, it’s the same setting, of course it’s the same locations). If you like the show, and especially if you liked SoT, pick it up.

This game builds upon everything that made the first game great! It feels like you're playing an episode of the show and the humor fits in with it.

I loved Stick of Truth and I enjoyed this game as well. It was hilarious and fun. It isn't too challenging but it's a great South Park game!

If you liked Stick of Truth, but didn't really like how simple the combat was. This game is for you! It feels very much like the first game only with more. Now if you hate RPGs, or just don't care about South Park. Do not waste your time. This was a labor of love and specially made for South Park fans who enjoy a good turn based strategy game. There are so many laugh out loud moments I can't even begin to list them all. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up! Gold Edition if you want the extra content coming later as DLCs.

I am big South Park fan so the purchase was automatic for me. The game plays like a South Park episode the combat has improved from the Stick of Truth. As with the Stick of Truth, there are couple of ‘I can’t believe I am doing this in a video game’ moments. I feel that it could be entertaining for those that aren’t familiar the television show. However, for those that watch the show, it’s quite a treat.

After having pre ordered the game a year and a 1/2 ago and being promised the game on the release date Best Buy decided to get it to me 2 days later. Taking full price for pre-release items and then getting it to you late seems to be best buy's new motto. But enough about that South Park the fractured but whole is AWESOME it is a type of game you can play through again and again Highly recommended !
