MA rated for a reason!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is so much fun to play even if you're not into South Park. BUT This is a South Park game with their humor and ADULT situations. If you are debating buying this for your kid or anyone under the age of 16 then DO NOT do it. It has strong language and it is used frequently, along with brief nudity, and adult themes.

Solid South Park Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Insane - I am not one to startle easily but there are some insane moments in this game. I am only 10 hours in and I am sure there are many more to come. Not safe for kids. Crafting - There is a crafting system for consumable items, hero clothes, and artifacts that can be slotted on your character. Leveling - I don't remember Stick having much of a leveling system and that is definitely different here. Character's can have multiple classes and you can customize the 4 different powers for your player at any time. There is also a system to add artifacts to slots to bump your character and party's stats. Combat - The grid based combat allows for a bit more of creativity on the battlefield compared to Stick of Truth (SoT), which got repetitive very fast. You can move around and use the environment to your advantage. Cons: Setting - I preferred the fantasy story in SoT. Combat - There are still QTEs in combat which I am not a huge fan of but I guess it forces you to pay attention. Ally Powers - Allies have powers that can affect the world so you can get to items and such. It is kind of annoying in how they implemented this system.

Just like the TV Show
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game comes the TSOT which is updated for PS4 graphics. Before titles have sharp graphics so at times you forget that you're playing a video game. It looks just like you're watching the show. Fun combat system, good humor.

Good Time!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your a fan of the show then u will enjoy the humor and the story. If not then it might be a little too much to handle. The game is fun with it's traditional rpg mechanics. But the story and humor is what makes it stand apart

Great follow-up to Stick of Truth
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stick of Truth from a few years back was an incredible video game, and made even better by the impeccable use of the South Park license. While The Fractured But Whole doesn't live up to what Stick of Truth delivered, it's still this years funniest game, and a must play for fans of the show and RPG-lites alike.

Hilarious
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You start off creating a superhero character where you can choose which powers you’d like involving a funny backstory! The game consists of wacky missions and typical South Park dialogue!! A lot of laughs!!

A must for South Park fans, but gets repetitive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm having a lot of fun with this game. I loved Stick of Truth and was hoping and got a similar quality game. For the most part they've delivered here, but things get pretty repetitive later on through the story. The game is really funny, especially if you are a South Park fan. The game builds on the story from the TV series. If you are willing to explore, things get funnier as you find hidden secrets throughout the game. Combat is pretty good. There are a few things you can do strategically to shake up the battles, but for the most part, this is a war of who has the most HP and the best luck. There are a couple of battles here that are annoyingly difficult until you figure out the "trick" that makes things easier. I'm almost finished and while I found it fun, there is a good amount of fluff to keep the story length high. Fetch quests, suddenly cheap hits that kill you. Nothing more than a lot of RPGs, but it's still annoying. I think Stick of Truth was the better game, but this is still a very good game.

Excellent addition for your South Park Collection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has all the elements of South Park humor with a RPG twist. I enjoy getting good laughs as if I were watching a good South Park episode but more. If you love South Park, then you'll like this.

Fun game. True to the show
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is an improvement on the stick of truth. The grid ability during combat adds for a more strategic gameplay. The humor is just what you would expect from the south park creators.

Just as good as the first one
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fun game. The combat is hilarious and it's full of Toilet humor. I got this for $10 so it was worth every penny. It also came with a code for the first game but i already beat it.

It's good, bust Stick of Truth was better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.South Park The Fractured But Whole is a title that clearly a lot of love was put into. The story, writing, acting, and gags are all on point. It definitely captures the spirit and feel of the show, and really makes the player feel like they are part of this world. The game boasts the same humor you'd expect from the show, as well as a lot of 4th wall breaking. It's very well done, and has a surprisingly deep RPG system. The combat system tries to be more involved than stick of truth and improve upon it, but it's here where it falls flat compared. While it is more complex, it's also a lot easier. Players are offered far more tactical ability being able to move characters around, and each of their moves having a specific damage arc. However not much strategy is actually needed as I have yet to lose a battle just winging it. A great experience either way, especially if you grab a pre-order edition that comes with the Stick of Truth.

One of the funniest games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, South Park humor, either you like it or you don’t. If you are easily offended please don’t play this game as it is designed to antagonize/satirize any important topic. That being said, the humor is a tool the creators use to make points about the topics that are making fun of in a pretty ingenious way more often than not. In addition to all the humor, it’s a great game that plays well and has a good story that pretty much nails how kids view the word when they are using their imagination. About the only drawback is if you play as a girl 98% of the dialogue still treats you as a boy. Overall a great game that is well worth a playthru or two.

Spectacular Sequel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent turned based RPG based in South Park. It continues shortly after where the first game left off, but it isn't necessary to play Stick of Truth, however the first edition copies of the game come with a code for Stick of Truth which is an excellent bonus for early adopters. The battle system is more stategic than the first since it adopts an SRPG grid system while retaining reaction commands and simplicity of Stick of Truth. You can also control up to 5 characters in a party. Typically you'll be controlling 4 characters in a standard battle. No random battles. Highly recommended for JRPG and WRPG fans who enjoy South Park.

More entertaining than I thought
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mean, it's south park. You know what you are getting. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would though. Stick of truth code still worked as time of review. Even on hardest difficulty it wasn't bad and fairly quick. About 25 hours to platinum.

Fun Game for South Park Fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are South Park fan, like me, then you will love this game. It plays similar to Stick of Truth, with the exception of the combat, the combat is more tile based strategy. The story is a continuation of Stick of Truth and is solid.

A True South Park Experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.South Park - The Fractured but Whole is as good as Stick of Truth, with the same twisted plotlines and humor, but with improved battles. A must have for South Park fans.

If you like/love South Park...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have dabbled in RPG, turn based games before and this one is fun. The game and story line I thought was great! It feels like you are playing the show. It's crude, hilarious, funny and smart! I think including Stick of Truth was nice because it relates to my one complaint. I'm by no means a hardcore gamer, I pick about 4-5 games per year to play, maybe play an hour or two a night. The games seemed short. Now I don't play to get every trophy, but I finished all the quest for each game, main and side and the experience of both games lasted me 2-2.5 weeks. Now with the Black Friday Deal and Best Buy points I paid $15 for the games, so $15 for 2 weeks of entertainment, AWESOME! Paying $60 for the game? If you're a fan, you already got it anyways, but if your on the fence I would wait for a price drop. Other than hours to be played, I loved the game.

Great Sequel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though this is a sequel, you don't have to have played the first to get into this one, but you should as the first was a great game. What you get here is a AAA South Park experience, written and voiced by the creators themselves, Trey and Matt. The visuals are indistinguishable from the animated series. Gameplay wise, it's a turn-based tactical RPG. If you're intimidated by that genre or its not your bag, don't worry, it's exciting enough and a good balance that will please both veterans and newcomers alike. All in all, if you like South Park you owe it to yourself to play this.

Must play for the fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.South Park's new game doesn't reinvent gaming but it is an excellent addition to the South Park brand. The combat is now grid based strategy(XCOM, Mario/Rabbids). The humor is still there. If you like South Park, this is an easy game to play.
