Will not install

Have all previous anti virus programs and fire uninstalled. AVG wants $25 for them to install it. Might give them a call and ask for free install.

Hard to acticate

I entered the code I was told ti do but I keep getting messages saying I need to input the code or lose my protection. Not likely to buy this protection again

Didn't remove My Virus..

It was not able to remove the virus nor could it protect the virus from slowly disabling applications or from stopping adware.

Too much Bloatware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AVG embeds itself in your HD and from my experience, only a complete re-install of your OS will remove certain files it Trojans in. If you insist on throwing away your money and go to install this, go slow and "un-tick" all the checkmarks in all the squares that give them permission to install all that BLOATware, because there is plenty of Trojan bloat imbedded into the installation as it is, and good luck with that. As far as the performance, again, my experience with it is from windows XP, vista, 7, and 8, and it just seems to have issues with compatibility with too many other programs, permissions that need to be corrected constantly etc etc etc. The actual protection is a crapshoot, because I always ended up uninstalling it, then having to do a complete re-install of my OS because of the Trojans it left behind that would literally fight my new anti virus, plus the bogging down effect on my performance was a mystery I could not solve,..... But as soon as I did the RI, , all my speed was back, and YES, even after my new anti virus was installed that Im not allowed to mention, but rhymes with Horton.
