Spacehunter Adventures in the Zorbidden Zone has held up very well on the years since its theatrical release, and the care that went into the remastering of this this Blu-ray shows. Colors, sounds and resolution are all as good as I'm remembering. Only one thing missing. 3D! This movie was shot natively in 3D, and released during the resurgence of 3D movies in the 80's. Out was a technological Marvel at its time due to the size and complexity of the equipment involved in the 3D production. Up until this time, most 3D was shot in open spaces with very little camera movement. It is sad that the original 3D versionmovie has not been preserved and released, and I hope that someday out will be.

saw this movie when I was younger...like a teenager!LOL. But it was in 3D. I like the actors..Molly Ringwald.. and Peter Strauss. Cheesy Special effects but they were practical..The way they did it back in the old days!! lol Fun movie. Wish they did the 3D Blue Red tratment,,,, something like how they did Friday The 13th part 3!!!

I bought this more out of nostalgia....it was fun to watch again after so many years.....the special effects were something to be desired, but hey, let's face it, it was made in the 1980's and not a big budget movie.

This is a classic 80's sci-fi movie... It's not the greatest movie ever but, it is very entertaining. Michael Ironside is awesome as usual and he gives a great performance. If you love great 80's cheese, then this is the movie for you....

Good film but not the greatest Blu-ray transfer can be a bit blurry and choppy the only way to watch it for now.

Was disappointed it wasn't in 3d like when i saw it in the theater. It was originally a 3d movie. oh well. rent it. no need to buy it..

sci-fi adventure with great locations. Is it star Wars...no, but not a bad way to waste a couple of hours of your life.

As a movie I cannot recommend this to any friend I just have a soft spot for it as I saw when I was real small . Decent transfer that far from anything spectacular

Another classic for my growing collection. Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone. I love the old Sci-fi movies. The movie is dated but still enjoyable. It has Peter Strauss, Molly Ringwald, Michael Ironside, and Ernie Hudson. I also liked how the restored the movie for blu-ray. It is a movie the whole family can enjoy together where there are not too many movies out there for the younger viewers. I would highly recommend this to my friends. I am glad the Best Buy website has some of the classic movies on blu-ray. Check out what the website has and build your collection to enjoy with your family.
