Great story line for second season and good ending.

Spartacus is a good show. I'm a fan of the series.

High action, might be a little bit gore for some, is very enjoyable. is sad that the main actor pass away and we have to get use to the new guy.

It was a little gory but I knew to expect that. The action scenes were good though so I got what I wanted so far as that was concerned.

This show has something for everyone. Violence, attractive people getting it on,and drama! The action scenes are kind of 300ish.

I love the Spartacus series, too bad it ended but this Blu-ray edition is very cool. I love the way it is set up

Honestly, I did not buy this item. Best Buy sent me an email asking me to rate this for free points. Great product!

Not sure about the new leading actor. Cinematography better than the first season. Definitely loosing interest though.

"Vengeance," when viewed alone, is a great and entertaining TV show. However, when compared to the first season of Spartacus, "Blood and Sand," and the ensuing prequel "Gods of the Arena," it doesn't hold up as well. I would give those two season a 10/10, while this one would be more of a 7 or 8 out of 10. Some of the greatest moments of the two earlier seasons were the gladiatorial battles in the arena. Since the plot of "Vengeance" has moved beyond the arena, those moments are gone. Instead, much of plot involves Spartacus' rebels running here and there, attacking Roman soldiers and hiding from them at the same time. Obviously, this can become a little tedious, but there are still enough awesome fights and shocking plot twists to make the season interesting. Also of note is that Liam McIntyre replaces the late Andy Whitfield in the lead role of Spartacus. Andy did a tremendous job in the first season (one of the best acting jobs I've ever seen), and his tragic passing robbed the world of a great man. However, Liam fulfills the role quite well. This Spartacus is different than the Spartacus of the first season, but I actually feel like Liam is able to portray the new grittier general-like Spartacus better than Andy would have, whereas Andy played the first Spartacus better than anyone else could have. **NOTE: This series contains very graphic violence (blood & gore), adult content, and language. Also, this blu ray contains extended episodes that contain even more graphic content at times.

This season of Spartacus was wild! So many twists and turns. So much blood! Brutal deaths transposed with tender moments. Spartacus builds his army, and teaches them how to fight as one. Glaber takes his desire to see the end of Spartacus to extremes. I watched this set straight through when I bought it, and I loved reliving each scene and letting the story engulf me.

At the retail price, I wouldn't recommend anybody picking this up, especially for those that had never seen the franchise. Just as in the summary, I'd recommend keeping an eye out for all sales for all the seasons and pick them up at the same time. For collectors, it's well worth having this TV series, with a multitude of genres that it covers.

The Spartacus 3 disk set is perfect quality at a terrific price. The product is worth purchasing knowing you will receive the best deal as with all Best Buy items.
