Long time Speck user: buttons too hard to press

Sleek but protective design. I have had both with grip lines and without. However, this case totally misses the mark on one important point: the case makes it almost impossible to control the volume on my phone because you have to push so hard. Previous cases had the volume and on/off buttons in soft silicone. This case’s buttons appear to be of the same rigid plastic as the case itself. The ridges make the phone easy to hold, but i don’t think I’ll be able to put leave a pop socket or phone ring on the back. I so want to like this case and keep it, but I think I’ll have to return it as I can’t keep a case that makes it impossible to operate the buttons. Please bring silicone back.

That’s the only surface on the phone that’s not covered. Moreover, if you are not strong, I suggest not buying it because the side buttons are super hard to push.
