It has protected my phone from my countless drops w/o so much as a scratch! I love clear b/c you can still see the color of your phone. I love the slimness of a speck case in comparison to an otterbox & still have all of the protection! Also got @ 1/2 off so I was even more pleased!

Found the Apple case wasn't as good a fit and kept slipping and turning the sound switch off. This case protects the corners better and stays put. And has a lifetime warranty, which I have taken advantage of with the case on my older iPhone.

Just get the otterbox case

If grip is important to you, we'd like you to check out Presidio Perfect-Clear with Grips or Presidio2 Grip, both of which were designed with grippiness and hold in mind.
