This is a definite buy for your macbook 12 inch as the computer without this cover is bound to get damaged within the first couple of days; how much ever careful you are. Trust me, buy this when you buy the macbook.

I purchased the New MacBook in Gold. Therefore I purchased the Speck Case in clear. # 1-Looks awesome #2- Quality Made #3- Installation is a few seconds. #4-Most important it protects my MacBook ***NO CONS***

I was looking for a clear case to protect my new gold 12" MacBook, and this case fit the bill exactly. It fits perfectly, and my MacBook is protected without sacrificing the display of its color. I did find it a bit overpriced for two pieces of plastic, but it does the job. I needed the case right away (and I had rewards dollars to use), hence I bought it at Best Buy as opposed to buying a case online, but there are many potentially cheaper options online.

I like this protective case. It's light and being see through, allows me see the color of my Mac. It fits well and stays in place.

You can see the Gold & Apple icon which is a big plus or why get gold, part of my decision in getting the Mac Book was that it came in Gold, but that was only a part of it. The case fits well & the only problem I have with it is that it picks up my dog & cat hair. Otherwise I'd give it a five star.

The price is much more expensive than others that you could buy in ebay, amazon... However the material is huge difference. It fit and hold my macbook better. The only issue is the weight. It weighted more than the macbook. The upper cover so heavy that it keep pull the screen down.

I bought this case for a new Mac I purchased around Christmas time. It fits the Mac very well, was easy to put on and so far, has held up to me taking it back and forth to class. I'd definitely recommend it.

honestly, this case was $50 and i only got it half off because i bought my macbook the same day. there are better cases out there for cheaper online and at diffrent stores.It clips onto your macbook pretty easy but one of my clips broke off the same day. it will protect against scratching the outside all up but not if the whole macbook if you happen to drop it.

I have always invested in a shell. Don't really need it but it does keep dirt, scratches and protects the decal that I always like to use on the lid to personalize the look to easily identify my machine from others. I think it is so worth it to have one.

This was really my only option at the store for my new 13 in gold MacBook but I really liked it because it was clear and you could see the beautiful gold of the MacBook through it. It snaps on and off the computer easily and does not add a ton of weight to the computer.

The case is clear to show the beauty of the Mac. It light enough to not heat up the mac

I love this case ! It fits my MacBook like a glove and since it's clear, it shows the beauty of the MacBook while protecting it as well.

This case looks pretty good, and does a great job. It does show fingerprints and scratches, but it does a great job protecting my computer. Also fits very well. Be aware that if you have connector/plugs made by an aftermarket vendor they may not work with this case and the new macbook. Works great with apple made products plugging into the USB-C port.

I was looking for a minimalistic case, and I think this fits the bill. It's a clear glossy plastic that doesn't add a lot of bulk. It's pretty smooth to the touch, which is something I think is a downside. It's not as grippy as I'd like. One wrong move and it might go tumbling. Although it might survive minor tumbles, larger ones, probably not.

I've only used it for a couple weeks but am very happy with the fit and it does not add weight or make the MacBook too thick. Shows finger prints and is likely to scratch but works to keep the MacBook unscratched.

Very good case to keep my MacBook nice and clean and it is transparent so I can customize my MacBook with decals.

Purchased for my Apple - Macbook® - 12" laptop. It fit perfectly. I have only had it for a few months, but so far it has not shifted or come off. Seems to be pretty good protection around the edges. And the clear allows the gold laptop to show through as well.

I noe own 3 of these cases used on different MacBooks. Lightweight and it looks great on my laptops.
