looks sleek but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is my second speck case after having the first for almost a year. they look sleek and fit the MacBook well, but aren't that durable. they crack on the edges easily. i got the second one on sale, but once this one cracks, i'll have to find something that can withhold it's structural integrity while getting transported from various locations within the house and in and out of book bags.

It's the Best Cover... but

I have bought it twice over the last three years, and that should say everything. The flimsy clips along the top side of the case (that keeps the case hugging to your computer) chip easily whenever the case does protect against moderate impact. Glad the damage goes to the case and not the aluminum body though!

Does not protect if the computer falls from a high place; mostly useful to protect against scratches and low impact drops. Matte finish is great because it doesn't get get dirty or scratch easily.
