Love how well this fits my laptop and protects it. Gives my laptop that charcoal look and if I didn't know better wouldn't know it was a cover over it!

I am a DJ and use my Mac frequently. I pay attention to all cosmetic details in my setup and this thing made it all tie together. The color scheme of my setup was thrown off by my Mac and I needed something to make it all flow and be cosmetically great looking. Now everything matches and I get compliments on how everything looks!

I went back and forth between the Apple Store and Best Buy trialing out the different wrap cases. I chose this one base purely on the look (black), texture (grips very well), fit, and ease of application. I've had it now for a couple months. Looks new still...does not collect marks easily. Took it off the MacBook Pro 15 retina and there are no marks on it at all. This is an amazing, easy to put on case. Price is so good! Enjoy.

Light weight, easy to clip on and off. I got the translucent black one. I love it. Looks cool and works even better. I wish I would of bought one right when I got my laptop. Great product.

Speck Shell Case for 15” MacBook Pro w/Retina display; black onyx case. The Speck Shell Case fits my 15” MacBook Pro like a glove. There is virtually no movement inside the case so there no friction or scraping against the computer. The Speck case protects the computer from exterior scrapes and scratches that might accumulate from every day handling and moving the MacBook around on a table or desk. The fit is so good that it is difficult to take the case off without breaking it! This happened to me. The sales person at Best Buy said it is not meant to be removed, but he did give me a replacement. The case is somewhat over priced.

I love this case. Its sleek and fits my Macbook Pro 2015 like a jacket- suer snug, looks sharp, doesn't hinder performance or ergonomics. Def recommend this for a better look and protection from scratches.

This is my second Speck Case for my MBP, first one lasted almost 4 years of in and out of a back pack pretty much daily. Fit is great as protected as any basic snap on cover out there unless yo go with something that will ad a noticeable amount of bulk and weight to your laptop. Just wish they still offered the original Satin (matte) finish like my old one. This one is not as slippery as the gloss but not as grippy as the old satin finish.

Every Apple device I own goes straight into a Speck made case. They offer AMAZING protection and not too much bulk. I normally use the Satin finish cases, but this time I figured I'd give this finish a chance ad I absolutely love it. This finish is lighter and the few is amazing!!!!

I have been using Mac laptops for several years now and I always purchase a case for them because I do not want to scuff, scratch, or otherwise damage the case. I like the satin Speck cases given the variety of colors available, plus the stain finish that makes it easy to carry (not slippery). The reason I rated the case four instead of five stars is because it is easy for debris to eventually work its way in between the case itself and the laptop. Even fresh out of the box, it can be difficult to clean the interior of the case before putting it on the laptop due to a static charge that seems to build up when trying to wipe it down. Overall, this is a somewhat minor inconvenience, though. I have tried other cases and experienced heartbreak as feet/pads fell off, making the laptop wobble when typing. I have never experienced such an issue with a Speck case (and I have owned quite a few of them). I would recommend against paying full price for the case ($50'ish) as Speck and Best Buy routinely seem to offer sales on the cases anywhere from 20 to 30% off.

This case fits really well. The only thing I would have like to have seen was a slightly different material so it couldn't slide. At the same time then you wouldn't be able to stow it away if it was like a cell phone case that was anti-skid material. Expensive but well worth the money to protect your expensive MacBook Pro

This is great if looking to protect the outside of your laptop. I wouldn't purchase this if looking for drop protection as my other Speck products (i.e. iPad & iPhone). If you're planning on selling or trading I'd recommend because the nice outside finish won't get scratched or other blemishes.

Replacement for Speck case that is a couple years old. One of the corners eventually broke after use. Never dropped. Is lightweight. Fits well. Protects from scratches.

This case was recommended by the sales person at Best Buy. I wanted a light weight case to protect my new Macbook and this does the job. It will prevent scratches and give it some protection and thats what I want. I have always liked and had good luck with Speck cases.

My macbook pro gets moved around a lot and used in different environments where it can easily get damaged. It fits well and hasn't come off at all during use. Good product.

It didn't arrive on schedule but it was ok. It was just a day late anyway. I wasn't so happy with the packaging. Not what I expected to be, but not too bad either. The covers were a bit dirty (dusty) but I was able to easily clean by wiping it off with a clean cloth. Assembly was a breeze. Just push them until you hear or feel a click signaling that they're 'locked into the MacBook' and that's it. They're not loose nor too tight. Just perfect. I got it on sale too so I can't complain anymore. :)

Love this case but it's definitely not something I would feel comfortable using as a sole protection for my new MacBook Pro... Also the bottom piece doesn't fit, as there are slight ridges in which the laptop will be clipped into and my case doesn't snap on on one side.. Other than that the case overall will protect the outside from basic scratching and dirt which is the ultimate goal for me, but I'm definitely going to invest in a proper zip up case!

Great fitting and very light! Super coverage protection and slim design!

I've tried a couple of other hard shells. I am happy with this one. It looks nice - went on easily - was affordable - does what it was intended to do. 4 stars because the edges are a little rough. They sometimes irritate my skin on the palm rest.

Case fit nicely, looks nice and well made. Second time buying this item, the last one lasted over four years and protected the computer well.
