I was expecting this hard shell case to provide solid protection for my MacBook, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. The material feels rigid, but it cracks way too easily with regular use. Within a short period, I noticed small cracks forming, and eventually, the case started breaking apart. While it fits well and looks nice, the durability just isn’t there. If you’re looking for long-term protection, I’d recommend exploring other options.

To say - I am excited would be an understatement!! Longtime TEAM Apple but breaking away from the PC wasn't easy lol I tried once in 2020 - gave up after about 6 weeks. This time though I am sticking to it~~I originally purchase the 13" was pretty much the same as my iPad - so I went back to Best Buy and exchanged it - so thankful Best Buy has this option for their customers!! I am really happy I did it - I kept wavering bc of the additional $400 - I know this is a purchase I will have for years and SIZE DOES MATTER - in all aspects of life - Just to re-cap - I FREAKING LOVE IT the ability to share between all my devices with such ease is truly a huge game save!!!

Easy to install not bad quality and look sleek. If you want something simple this is the best option. Was really easy to take off or on

Smooth pickup process at Best Buy. Got item and on my way in less than 5 minutes. Packaging and item in pristine condition. Macbook air has been working well for all of my projects, battery life is great, excellent build quality. Solid performance and excellent battery life.

Fits perfect, very easy to snap on and securely install.

Held up really well over the last few months and saved my mac air after a tumble from the couch. It shows dirt, cat fur, etc. But has no static so easily brushes off. Looks beautiful and emphasizes my mac air without distracting from it’s natural shape or color. Love it!

I bought the midnight MacBook, and adding this cover makes it look more gray, but I don’t mind. Still looks cool, as I didn’t really buy the computer for the color. I added the cover as soon as I took it out of the box so I could prevent scratches and fingerprints

I really liked this case fo begin with but it has lost its quality in less than a year. I purchased this as my primary protection for my mac since it was going between metal lockers and backpacks. I try my best to he very carful with my tech however this case hasn't had the protection I expected. The hardshell case has spontaneously strated cracking specifically where the case grips the computer. And some small dings have appeared in the hinge area on the back of my mac (which was my fault), I thought that area would have been protected by the case!

I bought this case and within a few months it started cracking and every corner was chipping off without any wear & tear on my part. (It just sits on my desk, I would never ever drop it.) I contacted Speck and they sent a new one. Then AGAIN in a few months I had the same results. I don't know what's going on with this product but it's totally unacceptable. I was previously under the impression that Speck sold high quality stuff, but this absolutely debunked that.

I love the look but cracked immediately when I put it on.

I’m very careful with my things so I was surprised to see that just two days of having the speck cover it literally broke of one corner. Very disappointed and unsatisfied for what I payed.

Lasted about 3 week before it started cracking and eventually broke off a small piece from just everyday use, opening and closing the lap top. I would not buy this product again.

Speck snaps on easily. Great if you are traveling around with macbook pro. Would protect it from a small drop whereas normally one would destroy or dent the unit. Not recommended for permanent installation as it make hardware retain more heat and top and bottom somewhat restricts cooling out the hinge. Much better quality that the InCase equivalent which crack within a month or two.

Perfect fit looks great very pleased with quality.
