Bond, James Bond.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved all the Daniel Craig, Bond movies. I thought his tenure as James Bond was well received, as my personal preference in the series has been the grittier more realistic. Looking at you Dalton, Moore! Specter was a cool final installment for Daniel. It was engaging, fun, and carried it's adult content appeal with class! True Bond fans will pick this up and enjoy, as well as people new to the series. Good watching friends!

Bond...James Bond
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SPECTRE continues Sam Mendes' foray into the Bond universe in a beautiful, fluid, and dramatic way that also brings back some of the familiar tropes missing from some of Daniel Craig's previous entries. I'm not a fan of a few of the plot choices, but...the performances are all spectacular, the music is gorgeous (although I personally miss David Arnold), the photography is lush and beautiful, and the action is plentiful. This entry does not disappoint.

An alright finish to the Daniel Craig series.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll admit, don't expect Skyfall. That's a hard act to follow. My friends said it sucked. They were wrong. This was a pretty darn good movie, and I'll definitely say it was as good as Quantum of Solace. There was a lot of the great cinematography that the Daniel Craig 007 series is known for, and another appearance of the "BMT 216A" DB5. Also, who doesn't love Christoph Waltz and Léa Seydoux? It made me want to watch [title censored - Inglourious so-and-sos] again.

4th Craig Bond delivers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While not as compelling as Skyfall (but that set the bar unbelievably high), Spectre is still a great Bond flick. Daniel Craig is his usual self and I feel ranks just below Connery as James Bond. The opening sequence is fantastic. The return of Blofeld and Spectre as Bond's nemesis is something to look forward to in coming films and one can't help but feel we're being set up for a Her Majesty's Secret Service plot device to start the next Craig installment of Bond.

Daniel Craig rocks James Bond again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another fast and fun James Bond movie. An old nemesis meets Bond again. The movie has a good story and plenty of action sequences. The car chase in Rome is top notch. Daniel Craig hits it on the head being a great Bond. The Aston MartinDB10 is awesome. I love all the Bond movies and this one adds to my list of better Bond ones. It's the longest Bond movie yet but it never gets boring. Sit back and enjoy one good movie.

Exciting Bond adventure!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't believe I missed this in the theatre. I'm a huge Bond fan, especially since Casino Royale. This is the fifth since then and all five movies align into a mythic tale. This guy playing 007... he's pretty good for a sandy blond dude. Enjoyed this one more than the last, but not as much as the first two in this arch. Got it for the steelbook, too. Although it is not a draw by itself.

Excellent bond film! Looks amazing in 4K
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrific bond movie that looks fantastic in 4k! While not my favorite of the Daniel Craig bond films it still has a lot to enjoy and has terrific action sequences and memorable villains. It sets the stage well for the next film. I am very happy to own it and add it to my collection of other great bond films.

Excellent completion to the Craig films
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the fourth and final Daniel Craig film in the James Bond franchise. I enjoy it a bit more than Skyfall, not as much as Casino Royale, and quite a bit more than Quantum of Solace. The film ties the previous three films together in a way that doesn't seam too contrived, and although it is 2 hours and 40 minutes, it doesn't drag. However, it does suffer from some Bond cliches, but at this point, it is kind of impossible for it not to.

Best yet. . .?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my opinion this is arguably the best bond I have seen to date. I know the critics kind of knocked it, but I loved it. Some purists, such as my dad, will stick with Sean Connery (my name's sake) but I have loved the four films that Daniel Craig has done, the best. After Casino Royale I thought it could not get any better. But in my opinion each movie has trumped it's predecessor. A must for your collection.

Spectre Steelbook
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spectre the fourth Daniel Craig as Bond outing is once again a great bond film, with moments of humor reminding you why bond has such staying power. Christoph Waltz playing the character Oberhauser is a delightful villain who has connections to the previous films villains and repercussions. The Steelbook has minimalist art with a simple black background and bullet hole with line cracks forming oberhausers sigil.

Enjoyable, if a step back
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spectre is supposedly Craig's last run as Bond and the movie does all it can to remind you of his previous movies. It does a nice job, really, of tying up the plots from the previous Craig trilogy and leaving the Bond reboot in a place where someone else can confidently pick up the mantle. Unfortunately, it's also my least favorite of the Craig movies. It's got all the Bond elements and it's fun, but it feels like it's missing something in general.

One of the Best Bonds Ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I may be somewhat biased, but I think Daniel Craig is second only to Sean Connery as far as the best performances of James Bond. Overall, the Daniel Craig Bond films are some of the most enjoyable. I love the gadgets, but for me, the silliness of some of the Roger Moore and even Pierce Brosnan films were detractors. The Craig films come off as more realistic and don't require you to suspend disbelief as much.

Lackluster finish to Craig's Bond career
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was inevitable that there was going to be a let down from the Skyfall masterpiece, but throughout this film it seems as Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig completely lost interest in James Bond. Lea Seydoux was a fantastic Bond girl, but Waltz could have done more with Blofield. Overall everything from the special effects to the plot to the acting was a let down from the prior film. However at the end of the day still fun at times to watch and Bond is Bond.

A good return to traditional Bond
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a reader of the books as well as the movies, SPECTRE represents classic Bond well, with a believable plot and gadgets with action that doesn't ask you to suspend reality at the same time. If this ends up as Craig's last outing, it returns to a nearly Casino Royal quality, and in my opinion one of the better efforts from the Brocolli's of late. Good movie, good sound track and good cinimatography as well.

Spec-tacular
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Daniel Craig nails the role of James Bond again for the 4th time. Christoph Waltz is fantastic as the protagonist, and brings the plots of all the new bond movies together in a chilling climax. Less action than Casino Royale, but a must-buy for any fan of James'. The opening scene in Mexico is an absolute visual masterpiece. Don't hesitate and pull the trigger on owning this one. You won't regret it.

A Bond Farewell
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If this is Daniel Craig's last turn as the legendary spy it is a good one. From the frenetic opening sequence to the last shot of him and the girl driving away in his classic Aston Martin it is a Bond adventure for the ages. More backstory, excellent villains and the tremendous action set pieces are all wonderfully done. Hopefully note his last but if it is he left it in excellent form and high style.

Gorgeous, but Vapid
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The movie itself has been polarizing. I'll only say that there are things I like about it (cast; settings, esp. Day of the Dead opening; cinematography; production design; costumes) and things that didn't work (unnecessary contrivances about the villain, entirely too many nods to previous Bond movies). As for the Blu-ray release at hand, the A/V quality is predictably terrific. The extras are surprisingly underwhelming. Bond has been one franchise that has traditionally given us hours upon hours of bonus content, and "SPECTRE" is outright paltry. The 20:12 featurette on the opening sequence is nice, covering how each department worked to create the Day of the Dead. Unfortunately, that's all we really get. The Video Blogs are the same ones that were uploaded by the official 007 account to YouTube in the months leading up to the movie's opening. These are only a minute or two apiece in duration, so they're pretty superficial. The only other features are a still gallery (I hate those), and the three trailers that were released for the movie (loved those!). As for the Best Buy-exclusive SteelBook packaging, I gotta say, I love it. That initial teaser poster art image that was used here thrilled me when it was first released. It's spiffier in person than the ad art suggests.

Bond at his best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bond movies have always been some of my favorites, even the cheesier ones. Sean Connery, then Pierce Brosnan have been my favorites but now Daniel Craig has finally emerged into the role. This movie displays all of the great themes and none of the more questionable ones, for me. This had just the right amount of drama, surprise, technology and fight scenes to keep me on the edge of my recliner.

I liked it. Not the best Bond film but I liked it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's got action from the start and the movie answers a lot of questions about things that has happened to the people in Bonds life. It has a little miss direction but mostly straight forward. It also makes James a man as he can't beat up everybody and that was good to see. A movie worth adding to your collection so don't hesitate to buy it. I purposely didn't tell you what it was about, the previews do the film justice so just get it.
