Spectre is the Villian Blofeld's Back Story

Exciting as usual James Bond thriller with a side story about Spectre's Ernst Blofeld's back story and how he is more than just a evil nemesis of 007. Full of mayhem and killing of bad guys, which is to be expected in a James Bond flick. Daniel Craig is tied with Sean Connery for the "best" Bond in my opinion!!

From the opening scene you're strapped in for a thrill ride. This movie ties the previous three of Daniel Craig's Bond films together. If you enjoy Bond movies then you will love this. I miss Judi Dench as 'M' but Daniel Craig is once again outstanding. I just hope that this is not the last of his Bond movies.

This is a must-watch for James Bond fans. Unfortunately, I saw No Time To Die before I watched this, and I had wished I waited since the two movies are somewhat connected.

I have all the other Bonds, and really enjoy the way they put pieces of the styles from previous Bonds into this one. If you like the last few you will like this one as well, but if you miss some of the older character, you may like this one better. Its in the details, but if you are a fan you will see them.

The fourth in the "Craig Bond Series" and hopefully not the last. This installment reveals even more about Bond's past and dives deeper into the forming of his character. Hard to choose the best of this series as every one delivers far beyond the standard Bond formula. Craig is the genuine article!

Craig is excellent as always. While not as fully embraced as Skyfall or Casino Royale, Spectre is loaded w/ fan-pleasing moments as it manages to allude to every Bond film before it in one way or another. (Specifics on line). Too bad the theme song is almost universally regarded as the WORST ever. (Also details on line). Hence the four stars.

A Worthy Effort

When comparing Spectre to the previous three Bond movies featuring Daniel Craig, this one probably ranks closer to Quantum of Solace, which was more of a 3.5 star effort. It is still entertaining but it doesn't quite come in as high as Skyfall or Casino Royale in terms of overall quality of the directing. scripting, acting, and choreography.

While this entry into Craig's James Bond universe is not as savvy as Casino Royale, it certainly doesn't disappoint. Beautiful cinematography, accute directing by Mendes and phenomenal performances by the cast. I am a huge HUGE James Bond fan and there have been some serious disappointments into the franchise, but SPECTRE is not one of them!

Was super excited to acquire this blue ray DVD on its release date. Plus I saved $4!! Overall this Bond flick played on the most recent two, and had flashback sequences that filled in a lot of gaps in the story line.
If you haven't seen those two, this one can stand alone with its action & special effects.

Spectre is exactly what you'd expect from a Bond film in regards to content and tropes, but not predictable. I found it to be a very enjoyable and beautiful film, great pacing, and the characters were very well rounded. It;s sad to see that Danial Craig is done with Bond, it seems they finally know howto capture the magic from Casino Royale.

Danial Craig is a good Bond but he will never be either Roger Moore's or Sean Connery's Bond. He is still young and maybe there might be some time for improvement. I like the fact that the Bond character has gone hi-tech. I personally prefer the suave womanizing Roger Moore. I mean it's just a fantasy movie. Let's just see what happens now.

If you already own this on blu-ray, you may not be too impressed with this 4K version. The picture is slightly better, deeper blacks etc, but the sound is the same -which is DTS-HD. Nothing to be mad about here, but Dolby Atmos would've been nice.

This SteelBook Blu-Ray comes in a durable, attractive case. However, Spectre is not one of the all-time great Bond films. In Daniel Craig's oeuvre of Bond films, it probably ranks third behind Skyfall and Casino Royal. It has everything you'd expect from most Bond films, but it lacks the charm that some of the best still manage to posses.

Seen it at the show on the imax. the sound, and HD quality were great. i purchased the Steel-box collectors edition.got it home on my home theather, and enjoyed it just as much. The DTS, and 1080p were outstanding. 2nd best bond movie of all time behind Skyfall, which was also on sale in steelbox edition.

This movie is a worthy addition to the 007 franchise. I found the movie exciting and enjoyable. I rate movies by how many times I look at my watch while watching the movie, I only looked once and that was while the credits were rolling by.

Spectre is the big payoff for those who have watched the other Daniel Craig films. I would highly recommend watching the other three in order before seeing this one! The action, as usual, is incredible. The plot is intriguing and the conclusion is satisfying. Daniel Craig is now my favorite Bond! Buy it!

In this time, we finally understand that all the events since Casino Royale are tied one another. Cinematography is Excellent!! I loved the little nod to OHMSS tune in one scene. (At least that what I noticed). The fight at the train with Bautista, wow!! If you are a fan of the Daniel Craig series this is a must buy.. great ride!!

The line of Bond steelbooks is gorgeous. I love the art on each of them (though I only own the Daniel Craig films). Spectre was a step down after Skyfall. The villain really disappointed. I probably had too high of hopes knowing it was Christoph Waltz. After Inglourious (it won't let me post the full name?), I expected much much more.

I really enjoyed this movie. Ralph Fiennes takes over as Bond's boss. I really enjoyed the way 2 Bond girls fit into this movie, despite no scenes together and the villain's (Christoph Waltz) show of just how much of a psychopath he is and will stop at nothing to off Bond and everyone close to him.
