I was skeptical when I heard about this movie. But after watching it, it certainly deserves all the praise it has gotten since its release. Great animation, writing and performances really make this movie stand out as one of the best comic book based movies to come out in a long while. It certainly ranks up there with some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Also, what other movie can you watch where you see various incarnations of Spider-Man from different universes converge? Definite recommendation.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is more than a pleasant surprise, which was at first a risky move for Sony judging by their recent "successes". From the presentation alone it is easily decipherable that a lot of love and passion was put into this project, making it the visual masterpiece that it is. The story, while being mostly formulaic still does enough to satisfy new and returning audiences to the superhero genre. Combined with the visual style and presentation, Into the Spider-Verse almost feels fresh.

I didn't get to see this film in the theater has I had wanted but heard a bunch of good things. Boy was I surprised (in a good way). It has to be the hands down best animated movie I have seen in a long while and would even say it is now in my top 10 best animated movies. Story so great that it puts you on a roller coaster of emotions. My only complaint about the film (not enough to drop it in stars by any means) is that at times the film seems to rush through the plot/backstory really quickly.

As a Spider-Man fan this is MY favorite version. it’s a great family story with excitement, family love, and inspiration. The animation is beautiful and the hip hop music is so cool. I watched it about 5 times back to back. I rave to everyone about it.

One of the greatest animated movies of current time. I've watched it so many times in theaters, but had to indulge all over again with the Blu-Ray DVD. I highly recommend it if you like marvel characters and stories, or if you enjoy hood movies in general.

Hard to say if it's really the best Spider Man movie ever (that might belong to Sam Raimi's Spider Man 2 or Spider Man: Homecoming) but it sure is up there. The animation style is unbelievable; so original, creative, and visually stunning. Great characters and a surprisingly heart-felt story, too. An absolute must-see and well worth owning a copy so you can re-watch whenever you want!

I really did enjoy this movie, and the blue ray comes with the Alt-Universe Mode... with deleted scenes intercut giving it a different feel and about 25 minutes of additional story. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the decision to intentionally offset the red and blue coloring in the background and foreground, really bothers me, good thing it tones down after about 20 minutes or so. Otherwise I loved the styling and the story and animation, pretty much everything.

Spider-Man into the Spider-verse is the best Spider-Man film to date. My Girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed this film. In this film, Miles Morales is a High School kid bitten by a radio active spider. He then witnesses Spider-Man killed by Kingpin who is trying to open other dimensions. The other dimensions bring 5 other Spider-men who help Morales fight Kingpin and destroy the machine that can open dimensions. This film is great and recommended for every Superhero fan out there.

I did not have a chance to see this in the theatres, but when it won the Oscar, I was like--whoa I need to see this. I'm so glad that this is a part of my Blu-ray collection. Such a great story, the humor, fantastic animation (though I felt like I'd have a seizure for a second there, lol) and the all the representation is so good to see. If I had kids, I don't think I'd mind watching this every other day with them. If you're doubting about whether or not to buy, go ahead and buy!

This particular movie speaks for itself in how well thought out this was made. Because as soon as you view it, the vivid colors Jumps out at you in a very inviting way filled with anticipation for what’s coming at you next. Yes this one was done well from the aspect of every individual character awesome excellent storyline action and adventures were very inspirational for all ages alike. GREAT MOVIE TO PURCHASE!!!! Yes I would highly recommend this movie to whom ever!!!!!

Teen Titans Go to the Movies! Was my definite pick for best animated film of 2018 and then Spiderverse came out. I'm not even sure where to begin. The movie respects the source material in a way that's only been seen with the MCU. There's also this deep love for hip hop culture that's present throughout the entirety of the film. The film is engaging from beginning to end with its blend of comedy, action, and an animation style that hasn't been seen in mainstream cinema.

When I first saw this movie advertised I wasn't sure I'd go see it, the previews after the original though got me interested enough to go check it out and as it turned out, I was glad I watched it. I've always been a bit of a Spidey fan so I suppose I probably would of ended up going anyway. Moving on, this movie was really well done, plenty to see and enjoy this movie. Only sad part was that it was one of the final Stan Lee cameos, granted it was a animated one

I absolutely loved this movie! It was action packed, funny and full of heart. I adore the art style and love the music. The story was really fun as well. We’re all more than familiar with Spider-man’s origin story (maybe too familiar), yet somehow they were able to touch on the origin stories but make it all feel fresh and exciting while also crafting a fun and engaging new story. Can’t wait to see what’s to come in the sequel!

Great movie!! I was always iffy on watching the spider verse movies but I finally gave in and I do not regret it at all. The movies are so great and I love the animation on them so much!!!

This is by far one of the best Marvel movies and not just as an animated film. The story of Miles Morales is well scripted and the whole spider verse opens up a wealth of opportunities to branch off into numerous future story lines with familiar characters, in addition to clever renditions of iconic villains that are illustrated in different formats than what we’ve seen in the past. Definitely own this movie, you won’t be disappointed.

I saw Into the Spider-Verse in movie theaters when it first released and love it. I had to pickup the Blu-Ray/DVD as soon as it came out. The image quality looks great, it seems like the subtle comic-book style visual effects are more noticeable in the home release. The extra features on the Blu-Ray are nice as well. There is an animated Spider-Pig feature included that I quite like. Definitely check it out if you have not already.

I must have watched already 5 times, and every time I catch something different. Great story for kids and adults whether you're familiar with Spider-Man or not. If you're already a fan, then this movie will blow your mind. The graphics and animation are stupendous. The actors/voices were perfectly cast for each part. And the messages in the story could be appreciated by everyone. Love this movie and I highly recommend it!!!

Our family loves this movie! It is perfect for everyone. Fan's of Miles in the comics will be happy with the story, and people who just want to enjoy a feel good super hero movie. My 4 year old is now obsessed with Miles and spiderman. I have lost count how many times we have watched it, and I keep finding Easter Eggs and noticing new things. The soundtrack is spot on and my son is also obsessed with it, and it's great!

As a person with a degree in computer animation, I can say without hyperbole, that the animation and technology used has set a new standard! It’s like an actual comic book! The reversal and mismatched colors, the “ink dots” indicitive of old comics, thought bubbles, and more come right off of the pages of the subject’s source material. Fantastic acting, a fun soundtrack, comedy, and emotion round out an almost perfect film.

I love Spider-Man. I also recognize that the moves are PG-13 and most of the time the animation isn't nearly as good. This one... wow. The art was brilliant, the story line was good, the hip-hop driving track killed it, and for all the parents out there it was PG; this was the perfect money making storm! It took me 3 trips to Best Buy before they had one in stock and I have watched it a few times already. Good movie.
