Amazing game, just like its predecessor! If you're like me and you like visual novel horror, please do yourself a favor and pick this up. It is a absolute hidden gem within its genre. The stories are great and the Japanese folklore influence makes them so interesting. The puzzles are really challenging, and I loved collecting all the different endings and deaths for all the photos! Scary mode is a little cheap in my opinion, it just adds a BUNCH of jumpscares to your playthough, but you thought the game wasn't scary enough for you already and you like that kind of thing it's there for you to turn on. Ultimately 10/10, I played this game with my partner and we LOVED it!!

A fine and creepy visual novel with some light puzzle-solving elements when it comes to dealing with the spirits you encounter during the course of the story. I like how attached you get to the various characters you encounter, and I love how, while learning more about the spirits you are dealing with, you come to understand them emotionally. The visuals are very well-drawn, and the music is good too, though I feel it repeats too often. For people like myself with a large TV and not the best eyesight, I am happy to say that the text is large enough to read at a distance. Overall, if you enjoyed Death Mark, you will like NG as well.

I enjoy games with reading and this is one of them. I can save and go back at leisure. The game graphics are colorful and the replay value is high. A+

This is a visual novel with a bit of gameplay mechanics. Unlike the previous Death Mark, this one made an improvement with the depth of characters this time around. Each character is provided with very nice sprites along with emotion interactions through the visual novel.

The game keeps you on the edge of your seat with how scary it is and the visuals , even at visual novel level are really good and terrifying, thankfully I learned about this after playing its prequel “Death Mark”

If it isn't already apparent, I'm completely invested in the series. Whereas Death Mark examines the darker side of human beings through an emotionally repressive lens, NG painfully portrays just how cruel life can be. This engrossing rumination on the nature of life and death is something we all can easily identify with, and I for one am eager to know where it will take me next. As for what the letters in NG stand for, you'll just have to play this Necro-centric Game to find out.
