When I originally saw the new glass mk ie trailer I had realized I'd never seen split or unbreakable before. I immediately went out to purchase this film and watched it I preparation for glass. Let me tell you the role that this actor plays is incredible creepy and believable. The ending had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Would recommened this film to anyone.

James McAvoy deserves an Oscar for his role in this one! I was blown away by his talent and versatility in playing the different roles. This film was thrilling and kept you hooked. I have recommended this film to many and have watched it several times since buying it. Don’t miss this one!

This movie allows James McAvoy to showcase his very versatile acting skills. The ease in which he transitions from one character to a completely different character is very impressive. The plot of the movie is interesting and there are a few twists and turns to add to the overall intrigue.

M. Night is back. While his last few films have fallen short. Some extremely short. This one doesn't disappoint. Terrific story telling. Spot on acting. Just the right amount of suspense. McAvoy is top notch. Must see. Definitely one to watch multiple times in order to catch everything.

This is Director M.Night Shyamalan's follow up to "Unbreakable" and the second installment in a trilogy. The third movie, "Glass" was just released in theaters. It is well written, acted, directed and spine tingling. However, it is not for the faint of heart. It is not a horror film, but frightening non the less. Good movie. Disturbing, but not for kids.

I was a fan of M. Night Shyamalan when The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs were the only films of his I'd seen. In more recent years, he has struggled to produce a hit, but this film is one of his best for sure! A pleasant surprise! And, of course, it looks fantastic in 4K.

WE wanted to rent this movie through one of our various "outlets", only to find out that is no longer available to rent only to purchase digitally, so I searched for a better price and found a GREAT price through Best Buy! We are gearing up to see Glass and realized we had not seen this movie that "feesds" into the Glass movie. Glad we found it!

This movie is awesome if you love a movie to raise the hair on your neck. I wasn't going to buy this, but a sequel type movie called Glass helped me decide to purchase. I wanted to refresh my mind on the plot and it was worth buying instead of renting again.

Bought this and “unbreakable” to watch again before I see “glass”. All by M. Knight Shyamalan. Both of these are excellent movies. I can’t wait to see “glass”. This was a great deal because for $10 you get the blu ray disc, dvd AND a digital download!!!

Did not know this was the second part of a trilogy until Glass was released. Liked Unbreakable and had to see this before going to see Glass. Well acted but a little creepy. Would not recommend for kids until you have already viewed yourself. Overall, thought it was a good movie and was glad I viewed it before seeing Glass.

I was not sure if I was going to enjoy this film when I first saw the trailers advertising it, but when I sat down to watch it...I was blown away! It's a nice little psychological character(s) study that turns out to be a supervillian origin story!

James shines on in this film from the very first moment he appears onscreen! I was very intrigued with all of the characters!! It would be really come in handy if you watch the 2000 film, Unbreakable, first! You’re in for a treat with this film!

I had to have Split on Blu-Ray for my collection & will add Glass to it when it comes out. It comes with a digital code for streaming on Vudu or MoviesAnywhere, Amazon Prime, iTunes or GooglePlay. I love this film, McAvoy is fantastic in it.

It's hard to remember, but there was a time when a new M. Night Shyamalan film was an event in and of itself. In 2002, at the ripe old age of thirty-two, there might have been no more hotly anticipated film of the year than the director's fifth film, Signs, but what was only his third feature since defining himself as the auteur he seemed destined to be. Fifteen years later and we are in a very different time and space. After the success of Signs (over $400 million globally on a $72 million budget) the studio system continued to only throw more and more money at the writer/director and increasingly his films became examples of trying too hard to do what his first few features had seemingly done with such ease. After 2008's utterly confounding The Happening it seemed Shyamalan might have given up completely as he then resorted to being a director for hire on projects like The Last Airbender and After Earth, but even in these endeavors he experienced some of the more scathing reviews and certainly some of the worst box office returns of his career. Where was the director to go? What was there to do next that might reinvigorate his career? Did this once glorious storyteller that TIME magazine so famously labeled "The Next Spielberg" even care to continue to put forth effort and/or art into the world or was he done? In one way or another it feels like we haven't had the real Shyamalan with us for some time. That the person he was in his early thirties had been lost to the grueling system and there was no certainty as to whether he'd ever come back. In truth, Shyamalan hasn't taken a break longer than three years in between films since 1998 film Wide Awake and those three years came in between Airbender and After Earth. It was only two years after the nepotism on a spaceship tale that was Will Smith's After Earth that we caught a glimpse of who we thought Shyamalan was and might become again. I didn't write about The Visit, Shyamalan's 2015 feature that experimented with the found footage approach, but it was a deliciously pulpy little thriller that not only provided a signature Shyamalan twist that worked with the rest of the narrative, but melded the humor, the uncertainty, and the tension of the situation in ways that felt organic-as if the marriage of story and image were flowing out of the director like they hadn't in some time and this upward trend in quality only continues with Split. Like The Visit, Split is set in a single location and relays a rather simple story in both interesting and horrific ways. It is a portrait of a character and in being that it explores a subject with multiple personalities it might be something of a twisted self-portrait from a director who was labeled as one thing, attempted to remain that thing until he was told he wasn't good at that thing anymore and then tried something else only to fail thus forcing him to re-invent himself once more.

Although the movie itself is very good, it is all about James McAvoy's performance! Unbelievable!
Just let it sink in what he is doing in this...
But in the newest sequel to this, "Glass" he manages to step it up a notch again.

James McAvoy was impressive in this film. The way he handled each personality changing his mannerisms, body language, and speech patterns to characterize each one; it was amazing. Hand this man an award for this role.

This must see thriller will keep you captivated and at the edge of your seat! The intensity of the lead actor is exceptional. I originally watched the movie on cable. However, seeing it in 4k HDR is a thrilling experience.

How James McAvoy didn’t win every acting award that year is a crime. Not only juggling multiple personalities, but presenting one his multiple personalities, pretending to be a different one to fool others was incredible.
