This probably isn't considered a top of the line Smart phone, but if does exactly what I need it to do, even if the processor is a little slow at times.

I would not buy this phone again it was a discontinued item would not hold a charge so Could not get new battery for it. Returned the phone for different phone.

Flawless activation on ring plus. Daughter loves it. SD card a big plus.

Samsung Galaxy is not what it is cracked up to be. Phone worked ok but had to use my geek squad protection to replace it within 10 months. It would not shut on...lost all my data

Bought this for my Mother in Law as a starter smart phone. Store rep stated pre-paids get a lower tower priority so never could get it connected. Swapped SIM cards as well. Not sure if this true or not, really wanted it to work but didn't have the time to work that hard at it

I bought this phone for my dad and set it up for him before giving it to him. I have previous Samsung models of phones that were noticeably more expensive, and this model is in many ways comparable to the S3. This smart phone is sufficient for a basic smart phone user, and in some ways might be better than more expensive smart phones, this is because it has a fast enough processor to handle most apps well, and if you buy this phone and break it or lose it, then it will be a minor loss and easy to replace, that is of course compared to a flagship smart phone costing several hundred dollars. It would have been nice if Samsung added dual band Wi-Fi to this smart phone, as this model only has the 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi adapter built in, so if you have a nice dual band router at home that you know you will be connecting to, then keep in mind that this smart phone will not be able to connect to the 5 Ghz Wi-Fi signals.

This phone is standard in my opinion. There is no ground breaking features within this phone. I game occasionally on this phone mostly emulators and it runs smooth with no frame rate slow downs. I also bought a moga to go with it and its great. My least favorite parts of the phone, the battery is sub par lasting about 7 hours with above average use. My other problem is the temperature of the battery, it gets very hot after a few minutes of use. Also the picture quality is decent and the picture button is kinda delayed. But overall a decent samsung phone and i would recommend if you are on a budget.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my son surprised at all the features for the price! Sprint prepaid is also a pretty decent rate besides the extremely slow LTE data speeds. I would purchase this model again but with another carrier next time.

Was surprised by this phone. Spec sheet does not do it justice. It has a readable screen despite a low resolution. It manages to keep pace as long as you don't tax it with too many running apps (Touch-Wiz aside). Clean, well finished (albiet plastic) exterior without a lot of silly carrier branding. At $40 I'd recommend this as a spare or a gift for someone finally trading in that ancient feature or flip phone.

I previously purchased this phone for my wife. Her family liked it so much I bought two more. I really like being able to add extra memory and if the time comes, I can replace the battery quite easily.

This is the worst phone I've ever known,screen goes to black when I'm ready a story, the camera is aweful,and it freezes about 5 times a day...going to go with a totally different phone next time

The phone is good I suggest giving it to your kids.
