I needed a small dehumidifier for my bathroom. So I read the specifications and this one seemed to be perfect for the tiny room. I have a much larger dehumidifier but wanted something compact so I can put on a shelf. This seemed perfect for me. However in the instructions it says DO NOT USE IN BATHROOM. Why couldn't they put that in the specifications or item details? Another thing about this, it's quite loud. It's louder than my regular size Insigna 35 Pint Dehumidifier. This also came scratched on the top. And talk about huge plug size. It uses a plug with a giant brick similar to my samsung notebook that I am using to type of this review. So bottom line, if you need this for the bathroom KEEP ON LOOKING.

The owner's guide said under optimal conditions, the unit should extract 350 ml per day. I doubt this thing extracts this much in a week's time. OTOH, the unit's UV light on the air it's circulating is a nice feature.

Turned it on in 3 different room where a Medea and an Insignia regularly pull significant amounts of water from the air. This device pulled nothing. Have to return.

I don't think it ever extracted an ounce of moisture from the air in my bedroom. I returned it and cannot in good conscience recommend it. Maybe for a really small space but not a bedroom.

I had it in a closet that had 70% humidity after letting this run for 3 days it did not lower the humidity and only collected about 3 table spoons of water total. To bad this did not work out as it is a nice small size... I returned this humidifier for refund
