I recently started a small business and choose to go with square for my credit card needs. So far it has been just what I needed.

I found the square to be very simple to setup . it was ready for use as soon as you got it . The free app for the phone was easy to download and works with both apple and android products . Once you download the app the set up instructions are straightforward and is easily linked to any account that you want use . The new square reader is designed to properly process cards that have the new chip .

The set up was easy and it works flawlessly! I'm very glad I purchased this item!

My husband got it for his business so he is able to accept credit cards and works great and definitely secure!

Exactly what I expected. Great product. Certainly would recommend it.

Initially unaware of the need for charging the reader, unlike the non chip reader. It loses charge fairly quickly, and is finicky with the chip cards. Possibly all chip card readers are this way but this was my only experience

Thought it would come in handy for garage sales etc.

Great device to collect $$$, easy to use and cheap!

I bought two of the item so far and one of them turn out to be the bad one. Thus it is highly recommend to check it after you bought right a way. I have to charge it after a couple hours of use.

The battery dies quickly unless you keep it unplugged from the phone in between uses. The upside is it worked faster and with less failure than the contactless chip reader when it was charged. Hopefully square will make improvements and the next reader will be worth purchasing. So far a lot of money to square for cheap plastic junk (I bought two contactless chip readers expecting them to be efficient) that isn't really great. Square please figure it out!

The Square readers don't always work. One of them has not worked at all. Unfortunately I didn't keep the packaging so I can't return it.

Computer is what I needed for Ebay, Banking and usual chores such as E-Mail and face book. Good buy.

The chip reader works great in this reader but the swipe reader has yet to work - luckily I have the old readers for that!

Purchased for protection with chip cards. Works fine. Have not done a great deal with chip cards yet

This reader worked great for taking mobile CC payments. I really liked that I could take chipped cards as well. Definitely get one if you need to take CC on the go.

Worked great for our new barbershop by using with an iPad.

Great for those who are just starting a small business.
