I purchased this card reader for my mobile notary business so that my clients could pay with cards as well as with cash. the device has to be completely charged before it's first use (usb cable provided). The Square Register app is also very easy to set up and use.

Works great, had no issues taking orders. Only negative would be that it needs to be charged so you'll need to keep an eye on the battery life.

A great upgrade to the original Square reader, lets us do Chip transactions now!

I love the square, so easy to use. I would definitely recommend. This version has the chip technology compared to the free one they send you. You will need to keep this charged. No problems so far, would get another one for the other employees

Looking for a fast way to build your business The square is the way to go

I thought this would be a 5 star product based off of the credit card reader I have but this reader has a battery that does not hold a charge for very long. Even if you charge it all night you get maybe two hours of work out of it with it getting inplugged from the phone after each transaction. I expect at least 6-8 hours of working time.

I purchased this for a non-profit and used it at one fundraiser so far. It worked perfectly and was easy to use. I did the "walk through" tutorial that activates with the device which helped a lot to understand how to use it.

Only issue I had is the charge doesn't hold very long. Used it at an event and had to use a long extension cord to keep charged.

I'm very pleased with the Square Card Reader. I have only used it twice so far, but it is easy to use and the money is deposited in my bank account the next day. I would definitely recommend purchasing one for a small business.

This was a great item. I bought it at the last minut and set up the account and everything within the 20 minutes that I needed to use it! It is quick and easy and good for the change technology with the new cards.

It is ok. But dont like you have to recharge it daily even if you dont use it.

Square makes selling easy and safer with this updated card reader. Swipe a credit card or use with the chip technology. Best Buy makes it convenient to purchase this product in-store with no waiting for it to ship.

This one works as well as the previous swiper only model, but if you want the most reliable get the contactless one!

This card reader is a great buy . I own a lawn care business and I needed a way to take credit cards and bank cards , this device works great . I also get my money in the bank the next day at the latest .

For any portable business this product is great and very reliable. Great update for chip credit cards as well.
