Simplified my sales transactions. Enable me to accept credit cards with ease. And the display is very presentable, it allowed the customer to be more comfortable with using there credit card.

As a small business owner we needed something more reliable and professional than PayPal here.. The Square stand is perfect for what we need and easy for our customers to sign on our ipad.

I really like the Square register. It made ringing sales for my Concession business simple and quick. The reports are sufficient for what I need. Well a better inventory management would be good for products that are made of different inventory items(i.e. hotdogs, etc.). The only problem is that it is easy to break the pin connector if you have to remove the ipads frequently. It would be better if you could just pull the ipads out directly from the side similar to how some phone cases are made. Having to pull it out in an angle through the front causes the pad to bend the connector and weaken it until it breaks. Other than that it works well.

Been a month and all is great. Only thing is make sure your mounting plate is positioned well the FIRST TIME. not much room for error.

This works great in my office. It offers an easy way to collect money from my customers and saves me the cost of a credit card machine.

We opened our retail store on Magazine Street in New Orleans on October 1st. We bought the Square on September 30th the night before. In two hours we had everything ready to go and were ringing people up the next day. Since then we've started using a bunch of the additional features. It's hands down the best retail on the market.

This thing is great! My customers are always commenting on how cool it is and how well it fits into the "design aesthetic" of the shop. Traditional merchant services can be very costly for a business with the wrong kind of volume, not to mention tricky and full of "gotcha" T&C language. This stand ,along with the Square service, fits the bill for us and is simplistic and elegant. 5 stars, great product.

I run a business with a much larger volume of sales than square accounts usually have but I wanted to try it because I enjoy Square's streamlined cloud pay processing features that seem to grow constantly without the need for new hardware. That being said I will talk exclusively about the stand itself. Cords are long, annoying if you don't need that length, but a blessing if you do. I do feel the cables too easily come apart and your staff may not notice that things are not powered until it is too late. The stand is not conveniently attachable to any surface. They include an adhesive mount and also a mounting kit. Neither of these solutions are actually permanent. The cable that runs from the stand to the power will wear down over time with each spin and cause you to do a warranty repair. Hopefully this happens within your first year! The stand blocks the power button of the ipad and there is no convenient way to restart or turn off the ipad without using the security tool to remove the ipad. Keep in mind that you will have to keep that tool accessible to your staff! Don't lose it, it's proprietary! The magnetic strip is a little tough on credit cards, my customers have complained that the square terminal is eating away at their mag strips. The stand is too tall, there's quite a lot of wasted height that makes this stand sort of a hinderance to children, handicapped, the elderly. Extra usb outlets are fantastic on the power block! Stand sometimes disconnects from the iPad, takes about 7 seconds to reattain connection. Very easy to rebrand the stand to have your company logo on the back. Plastic is cheap, I wish there was a metal finish available. It is the only option when it comes to square!

The stand works much better than the phone plug in. Each swipe works. Every customer even comments how cool it is. They love it.

I have Square in my business and can't be happier with it. It makes my life easier with a free software and low rates.

Exactly what I was hoping for. Card swipe works every time and receive many compliments on how 'professional' it looks.

The Square stand rocks. More easy to use than the other one. Looks nice and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I'm using these in a temporary environment, where we change and move the register from location to location. This gives my company a very professional look and it only takes minutes to setup. Works well. The only issue is thick credit cards don't slide through. My square rep says they are coming out with a chip/mobile adapter in Q1 '16 which should fix.

I luv it it is easy to work with and remeber that the ipad is a certain one but is a great size

This was just what I needed and it works great. it is/was a great value for what i paid for it.
