I decided to buy this safe as I needed a larger model than the drawer safe I had purchased previously. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior storage room and the ease of operation. Free shipping was a plus as well. Would buy again.

Easy set up, good size, great value for the price.

I did a LOT of searching and research on the web for the best bang for your buck for safes under the $200 price range. After getting this safe, I'm very satisfied and feel I made a great purchase. For the price this solid metal safe was built very well... now it's not as solid as a $700 safe with 1/2" steel walls but for the price, $79 it's a steal! Looking over it in detail I would say this safe is built to keep most thieves out... to break in the safe, you'll need at least a portable high powered diamond blade power saw or the ability or art of lock picking... trust me this safe isn't easy to open especially if it's mounted on a wood shelf and wall, like in a closet, it's going to be very difficult to get into since most burglars are not going to stick around long enough to try and do this. It's the perfect size to store most valuables. It's not fireproof but after researching on the web I plan to convert the lower half to be fireproof so I can store passports and data on the bottom part. Once I convert it, I'll probably list this on Youtube so others who are wanting a strong fireproof safe but don't want to spend 10X the money will find it helpful. The safe is made in China, but looking at the quality and design you would think it's made in the US... keep in mind, all Apple products are made in China. This is a great safe! For those of you who are shopping for safes under $250, this is the best deal out there.
