Based on the story The body by Stephen King, a very well adapted story with great characters and a well rounded cast. A very good coming of age movie.

A group of young kids go out to find a dead body and the adventure serves as a nostalgic reminder for adults of the adventures they had as a kid. The dialogue is well written and the characters are memorable. Seeing a cover with a bunch of kids on it may turn some off or maybe others remember watching this as a kid, but to me its more about appreciating how important these simple moments and experiences are that you never forget. After all, the story is narrated by one of the kids as an adult. The idea of going to find a dead body may come off as a little grim, and it is obviously something most have never done. It serves as a significant coming of age moment, however, that is more dramatic for a movie.

Great movie, a good classic movie great for the price.
