There have always been sci fi fantasies me and my brother and friends had growing up. Piloting an Xwing against the death star, navigating the Defiant through the wormhole, taking the helm of the Galactica against a Cylon Basestar; and being a captain on the Starship Enterprise! Star Trek Bridge Commander gave us a great first taste but Bridge Crew takes it lightyears forward in VR.
Graphics are nice even though I think they were toned down to keep framerates at tolerable levels. I don't have the PS4 Pro, so that maybe an issue but still very good. Only gripe so far is the tracking. I had to play with the camera and moved it from on top my tv to the table so that it could keep track of my move controllers. I don't know how you could enjoy this game without the move controllers since you basically play the game at a console the whole time.
Would have been cool to be able to get up during downtimes and explore the starship, play games in the holodeck, meet with other players in the messhall or change outfits in your sleeping quarters.
So far, the game has been fun though. Sometimes as captain, I would look at a crew member to send an order but it would highlight something else. Also, still figuring out when certain orders can be placed. One annoying issue is ordering AI helm to avoid mines while still proceeding to target. Thank goodness live players can understand to navigate around them or you can take over the helm for a period.
All in all, a great Trek experience and at $10 less than most new games, it's a great buy!

Fun game, like most VR games, controls and movements are not precise and a little frustrating, but overall I enjoy this game.

Most likely the best VR game for Sony so far. I will admit, I like to solo play, so I don't have to hear from the 14 year olds. You can play online with others. I have not. In solo play, have patience, the AI, (specially helm) suffers from target fixation. After awhile, the draw back is, this game starts to feel like a demo, or unfinished. Don't get me wrong, it is well worth the money! For the smoothnes and the graphics alone. The old school Enterprise, different story. A tank, but clunky, and not user friendly. All in all, I would tell my friends, they should go out, and buy it.

I have enjoyed playing the solo missions so far. It takes a little time to get used to controlling the bridge and who does what. I am looking forward to learning and getting promoted. A good game for trekkies of all ages

This is a great game but can be a lot to master for someone who doesn't have the time to put into it. I haven gotten very far, but I would defiantly recommend this as one of the better vr games I have seen.

First and foremost, I am a big fan of the Star Trek franchise. The use of VR in the game is good, makes you really feel like your sitting on the bridge. As a single player game, it is a bit to simple, the AI is a bit dumb, especially the helmsman....really, you didn't see that huge asteroid you just ran into!... But as a multiplayer game, much better. Makes you work with other people and coordinate your efforts which is what it is all about.

Star Trek Bridge Crew won’t change the world, but it provides a stunning realization of the Star Trek franchise and brings with it an unparalleled level of immersion and VR fun. I can think of no other franchise that’s better suited to cooperative VR play than Star Trek, and Bridge Crew makes playing with strangers fun again. It also represents the ultimate in wish fulfillment.

Bridge Crew is a fantastic cooperative space flight simulation game. It can be played alone but it truly shines with four players working together. One player is the captain and has an overall larger idea of what is going on in order to command the crew. The helm flies the ship and engages warp and impulse flight. The tactical station scans and fires phasers as well as torpedos. The engineering manages system power and repairs while also being able to redirect and reside power.
A must buy for anyone with VR and crossplay with PC is fantastic.

If you've ever wanted to sit in the captain's chair, this is your chance. It's particularity fun to play multi-player, at any of the stations. The game plays well with the controller, but I recommend using a pair of move controllers for a more immersive experience. My only gripe is that the voice commands (used when playing solo) sometimes don't work at all.

This is a super game. The single player is limited but it teaches you how to interact in the multiplayer game. It is limited as a lot of the scenarios are random but repeated maps. It has great potential for future add ons or updates.

In this game you feel as if you are truly a team with three other people in space. You must work together to accomplish missions. Everyone has a role. There's a captain, engineer, tactical, and a helmsman. The game can be very fun when online if you get the right group of people with you. There are some weirdos on there that take Star Trek too seriously. For example, one guy was trying to speak Klingon. It's pretty cool and there is cross platform compatibility. This means some people are on the PlayStation four, while others are on the oculus rift, and other systems. I would give this game five stars if it had more missions. I'm sure they are working on it and if so, this game is absolutely amazing. Plane by her self gets really difficult when you're hopping back-and-forth between positions because AI is not the smartest. So if you're OK with talking to strangers, working together, and ignoring some of the weirdos, this game is great. it operates better in my opinion with the move controllers. You can use the gamepad but it's better when your hands are able to move freely. If you just want to play by yourself and beat missions it's OK. This game is truly for online play to get the most out of it.

First I will disclose I am a lifetime fan of Star Trek.
Knowing that would a fan of the show love this game? Definitely! Would someone who has never seen the shows or movies like it...probably not.
The interface is creative as you assume the bodies of crewman at various stations in the ship and use the joysticks to control their arms. The more you play the faster you can move around, and it does become 2nd nature...this was un-expected and very creative.
The graphics are good for the machines/ships, but the people are polygon like.
Is it fun? For Star Trek folks yes as you are already trained by watching the movies to call a red alert and what phasers/photons are. Non fans probably not which I think is reflected in the reviews.
Amazing to drop on the VR headset and feel like you are on the bridge of a ship...without leaving your living room.

I enjoyed playing the game, though I've only used the solo mission mode thus far. The training borders on tedium, but it moves quickly enough. Had some issues with the AI being stupid. When I went to analyze a ship, the pilot would fly into things like a moron. I had to constantly take control which is annoying when you want to sit in the big boy captain's chair. Oh well, if you want something done right...
Still, the game has promise and I imagine it will get better with more time spent playing with others and as missions develop further.
The graphics are OK. The people declaring that they are amazing are exaggerating. They are decent for VR, the experience is decent too, but nothing groundbreaking or amazing.
Well, at least it didn't make me want to throw up.

I haven’t actually got to play this game yet but it was on the deal of the day for $30 off.. plus I’m a gamers club unlocked member so I got an additional 20% off. Grand total was 16 bucks. Amazing price and I can’t wait to play, as the game as it looks phenomenal. It’s gotten stellar reviews and looks like a lot of fun. Can’t wait.

A fun multiplayer game for you and 3 friends to really get the feel of what it would be like to fly a spaceship. I will say, the more people you play with, the better, but that can be hard with VR still in it's infancy.
