    First Star Trek series since Voyager. Very interesting and different. Curious to see where the series leads.

    The steelbook is beautiful. The show itself has several bright spots, but suffers from inconsistent writing. There's a big twist toward the end of the season that's pretty played out and dumb. The cast is great though. The characters are pretty cool for the most part, but aren't fleshed out nearly enough.
